This was a common chaine of 3rd programs during summer (June - August), proably from the late 1970's or early 1980'ies. The simple FuBK testcard without circle and ID - this was NDR III. As NDR III changed it's name and logo to N3 (about 1987) the also modifies their testcard. ´Then it had a circle the ID "NDR 3 HMBG" + clock.
For UHF a triax 92 group K,13 element for band 3,four element home made band 1 that was on a rotator on the main chimney.
The second chimney had crossed band diploes but later i put another rotator with five element band 3 aerial plus uhf aerials for my local transmitters.
As I remember, NDR has had a common "3rd" operating a "northern chaine" together with RB (Radio Bremen) and SFB (Sender Freies Berlin) since 1965, untill SFB hast left that corporation to found an own regional "3rd" programme in 1992.
Wikipedia doesn't give hints on a common work of NDR-RB-SFB's III. Programm together with HR at that time, maybe other viewers can tell more about that?
However, again a great TV-DX video, thank you for upload ! 5*
As I know, HR founded an own station we generally call "the 3rds" in 1964 (according to wikipedia).
I also grew up with N3 already when I lived in the East: Only the FuBKs were a bit different between NDR & SFB: We have had "NDR 3 HMBG" on it from Torfhaus UHF 53 and my grandma not far away from Berlin received the FuBK with "SFB 3" in it from Berlin's UHF 39, the programme was almost the same.
I never remember any common trades between NDR-RB-SFB's N3 and HR3...

CH 53 does make sense because our local transmitter (winter hill) channels were 55,59,62,65 at 18 KM.
The masthead amp i was using was hopeless i used to get cross modulation above the mid fifties.
That was cured later when i changed the amp for a better model.
thanks for the info.

What sort of aerials did you use for TV DXing?

In case the signal actually came from NDR:
UHF ch E53 from Torfhaus maybe?
Torfhaus often can be received in UK, when tropospheric propagation is fine...

Strange to see "HR" on that logo:

Are you thinking about N3? We could recieve N3, but later it was changed to NDR.

Yes, I am thinking of N3.
