I think that it is due to the fact that most of those cats are kids-literally!(probably 6 yrs old in 1996)They have no recollection of BDP vs. juice Crew or Moe Dee vs. LL.They think that the BIG/Tupac thing is a true battle/beef thing, and it's not. What transpired between them was a misunderstanding between to ppl that had nothing to do with Rap/Hip-Hop.They look at it like it's a Rap rivalry and it never was.

I was 10 when biggie died and i wasnt into rap music at the time. I also dont remember any of this 'beef' when it was happening, but whe i started listening to hip-hop when i was 14, and i heard Hypnotize, i fell in love with it right away coz it was so sick! That's what made me listen to Biggie and other hip-hop,coz that tune was quality. Now i'm a hip-hop DJ and i never get bored of playing that record, and the crowd go wild EVERY time.
