  • Good!

  • Thanks for that awesome 3 hit combo. But when I tried doing the "throw the numbchucks the other way over your shoulder", I almost cracked my head open.

Nearly knocked myself out lol. Thanks anyways.

  • does the nunchaku's weight determine where you should grip it? or is it just personal preference? or is it chain length?

  • @maxfieldmartin no it depends how you are moving them. this is a old old vid. my new vids are hd and unreal. this is fuzzy blurry and shitty. this is years old. but there is part 2-8 and they get more advanced and i explain in great detail where to hold the hands and why in other videos. i have 8 parts and then a series called nunchaku freestyle flow doing super super advanced ariels with 360 spins. head spins. palm spinds. thumb rolls and 360 wrist rolls. go to my page too

  • @maxfieldmartin Where you grip it will determine power vs. speed. If you grip farther from the chain, you will do more damage with strikes. Closer to the chain, less power but more speed. Typically, you want to grip farther from the chain in combat for more damage and closer to the chain when using freestyle show-off techniques for more speed.

  • Nice video but whats up with the pants? I hold a high rank in shotokan karate and ive never seen those balloon pants

  • @HellHound9667 these are hakama. everyone in japan in old day wore these. farmers. samurai. anyone. these are standard pants. anyone in aikido or kenjutsu or iaijutsu or kendo wears these. they are very standard and karate is japanese. i send you a description and a video. this is old old old vid and part 1 of 8 then i go to super advanced moves and i mean head spins or 360 body verial with no handed passes. double no handed passed and thumbrolls. 360 wrist spins.

  • Great videos. Very informative, appreciate you sharing your skills.

  • Wow Jason what a different from way back in the day till now for your living room conversion to your dojo :D. What was did the sign at the start of the video say?

  • @NovaScotiaNewfie it says nintaijtusu and i made it. havent seen your comment in forever. how are you? last summer i made intense tactical vids and gun vids. real and airsoft. camping and survival vids. and tons of new snowboard vids. do you ever watch them still? peace bro

  • Still kicking man still kicking, ya I saw your vids...the one with Sgt Mountainous is funny :D So are you following Severn Sensei and doing your own training and not on thing in particular or still doing dedicated Bujinkan training as well as your own thing and mixing things up?

  • @NovaScotiaNewfie nice. you seen the wolf man. i am in ralph sensei group and doing my own thing. this last year was all firearms and wilderness survival. getting to know my forest better than ever. and in all elements. hence the recent snow cave videos. snowshoeing. all the camping and wilderness survival and airsoft. real guns etc. just that kind of stuff. not a lot of traditional stuff this year. but still when rolling with a gun it is the same as with katana. so it is still budo

  • thank you for teaching your video is so good easy to follow yourr instruction thanks a lot

  • (8) I dont need a parachute, baby if I got those trousers (8) ... Joking mate, good video :)

  • what is the video that teaches the "reverse grip"?

  • @kaylanipimp i dont remember. i think it goes up to part 5 or 6 and then it switches to this title. nunchaku freestyle flow part 1. and then watch this one for sure. i do headspins and thumb rolls and palm spins and wild ariels. but NUNCHAKU FREESTYLE FLOW PART 2 SHOWS THE BEST STUFF I MADE. MAKE SURE IT IS FREESTYLE FLOW WHEN YOU DO THE SEARCH. also i do double nunchaku freestyle flow. sorry i dont remember i have hundreds of vids

  • Greatest. Hakama. Ever.

  • turn off the music

  • @baseballguy000 no i wont and also this is fucking prehistoric vid. go see my new shit. this is lightyears old. only vids after 100 i keep these old ones up here for fun. archery in real armor and horseback in real armor in the mt in vid 115 go see new stuff

  • Thanks! I subscribed i have sais as well do use have a training viedo with them?

  • yes. go to my page and see that this is a old and not fun video and bad quality. chucks are like fun toys for me. i dont take them serious but i will send you my newest chuck vid and a vid with sai ok

  • Good video, but for the love of God burn that hakama and never wear it again. If it's too loud for a rodeo clown, it's too loud for a martial arts instructor.

  • dont be a smart ass please on my channel. i dont wear it no more. i suggest you go see my new vids. this is mega old. go to my channel or watch vid 107 of mine to see what i really do

  • people dont know how to respect art

  • This is a really good tutorial and I would recomend it to anyone interested!

  • thanks. i have had starts with others and ended up sharing info and getting along great. there was just a bad start. these old vids are funny when i see how it looked compared to now. slowly i take out my furniture one at at time now i have one little chair in the house. and ninja house. lol. what things do you like the best and i can send you a vid of me doing it if you want. i have so many to look through and do about 30 weapons and have tutorials for some and demonstrations for others. etc

  • OK! Try taking out a garden spade!

  • The most greatest nunchaku training video i ever seen. This video is awsome,great,super...ummmm.. what eals i should say, really this video is very nice and it helps me a lot.

  • I hope u dont hurt ur self training.

  • very good , thumbs up

  • I JUST WANTED TO SAY... YOU GET 5 STARS....

AT FIRST i didnt take you seriously then i skipped ahead to the part where you alternate your grip on both figure 8's and that helped my technique a lot, i was stuck on getting rist rolls down but this technique around 6:15 helped a lot. AWESOME TEACHING

  • what is the song?

    nice video 5 star

  • i am sorry i dont know i just was playing some music i found on youtube

  • It sounds like a song from Yoshida Brothers, they are a cool band if you like music like this. They play traditional Japanese Shamisen but with like modern beats. Its cool.

  • Fantastic, thank you!

  • nice mate im like a beginner at min but im going to start to go to be trained by sensai graham ravey who was in towers of death lol nice work

  • Thank you for showing your excellent demonstration. *bow

  • those are sweet uniform pants cant remember wat they are called tho

  • hakama

  • how do you get an internet connection from up there lol.

  • we have no stoplights and no police and no mcdonalds but we do have snow and we do have internet. lol. check out nunchaku techniques part 2 and it has new cool stuff. and katana techniques part 3 shows me crawling off deck 15 feet above ground and snow is highet than the deck

  • you have no police? wow

  • who needs police with guys like these :p they can defend themselves

  • is it your home??

  • yes i turn living room into dojo till i go outside and start making vids on huge mountain i live on. if you look at my page i have some snowboard vids and i live on this mountain of 11000 feet and i live at 4000 feet so in summer snow capped mt in background and next to lakes and waterfalls in natl forest. vids this summer will be way better.

  • cool man!!

    very cool man!!

  • nice video! what kind of chux are those, ive never seen them before. are they foamies?

  • ya. i have other chucks that are hardwood. if you watch my nunchaku basics video that i made before this i show some real basics and then i do a demonstration at end of video and use real chucks and go real fast and use lots of techniques. but i never had a pair and did dual chucks. so i didnt want to invest alot or break double glass doors or tv. so i bought this pair for $7.00 and now i think i will buy a pair or real chucks.

  • thats cool. u should try prochux, thats what i use. i think you'll find you like them alot. check out some of my videos if you have time. :)

  • Very nice work. I would also like to see a video where the strikes actually hit a target such as the stand up dummy that is in your room. For example, is the strike supposed to hit the side of the head, or the front of the face - or does it really matter?

  • this is a kata. it is the side of head or temple and the last stike comes from overhead. if the first one lands there wouldnt be 2 and 3. zack did you see the slow motion shots and at end

  • SEnsei park is the only real teacher of DTG on youtube - your just a wannabe - I have implored sensei park to think about you idiots making DTG a laughing stock and cheapening sensei parks work
