excelente numca habia visto este video!! realmente es espontaneo la muestra de rock y la huella que deja the fuzztones junto con ian astbury sin duda ian es un icono del buen rock salvaje y puro. larga vida al rock n roll!!!!!!!!!!
Scream was great. I saw so many great bands there. Even The Cult one fine evening when they handed out little tickets and then u stood in line. Without it--u were screwed and couldn't get in. That was my pal Michael Stewart's club. He and Dayle Gloria WERE the two that brought music to L.A. in the 80s---It was a GREAT time. Too bad those days are truly gone - cause the music world IS a world different today.
Great great times. Loved it at the Park Plaza, even at the Highland location was good. Always good music - whether the stage or the dance floor. Boy - L.A. in the 80s was the BEST!
Good for you! That's what fun and good memories are made up. Remember all the great spaces that clubs would be at? Park Plaza was great for any club. Power Tool was on the bottom floor for quite a while. What had been the ballroom made a kick ass gigantic dance floor, and then the patio just outside. Dirt Box was good, always in old warehouses in the really gritty part of L.A., Cathouse was fun... Oh yeah...those were some good days.
In fact, Scream is where I met Billy Duffy one night. He was just with his friend hanging out. They approached us! Wasn't into his friend, but he was so nice and softspoken. We acted as if we didn't know who he was--just a regular cool guy. Ha! My friend and I were dying on the inside because we lived/slept/dreamed The Cult! Ha...Acting!
This song is on an item I got off e-bay called "The Cult of Sonic" ...it's a 3 song cd w/ this song, "Go-Go Guru" and another song (forgot which one) and a CULT booklet.
Does anyone know where this CD could be bought, or is there a video you can buy of this show. The only one I could find was a cd for the Fuzztones on Amazon- it was 59.00...ouch.
this is good.. real good!
