Guarded by the Light ? It will increase world of glory healing done 10% and over healing come absorthing shield. I don´t like it becous I use holypower to Shield of the Righteous. World of Glory heal me 10-20k so it is not so much use.
@aeonknight86 Hey, im a ret paladin but only joined last autumn and my comp died in jan :(. Just buying the parts for it now after long save-up so will be bk online soon. Im lvl 63 and havent picked my dual class yet. Main is ret, do u think i should go tank or holy for my dual? which is more fun- i kinda think tank atm. How is the healing on the pally as main healer?
@IvorStiffan I have gone Retribution spec myself too for arenas and am loving it. For your second spec, I would suggest picking a type where you'll know you'll enjoy and not get tired of. I love tanking and doing some random dungeon runs here and there. I'm not too big on raids right now because my guild is currently doing the new fireland raids and I am not fully prepared for those encounters just yet. Arenas, RBGs, and BGs are where I'm more focused :)
@aeonknight86 wel i used to be the main raid tank for my guild in lotro, tried healing in wr and loved it (the game was terrible after lvl 30) but now ive taken to dps in wow... and love the game alot more. cant wait to get back online! PS HOARD!
@Kinkseraph hey sorry for the late reply but the two addons that you are asking about are IceHud and QuickMark. I use both because IceHud allows me to easily see my health, mana, buffs, debuffs as well as those of my current target while QuickMark allows me to quickly and easily mark the targets up faster in a heroic dungeon or raid. Thanks for asking! =)
One thing you said "word of glory isn't going to be used that much" so you avoided speccing into eternal glory. One thing I have found is if you have stats/expertise and gear sorted and when threat is no longer an issue. pairing the talents 'eternal glory' and 'guarded by the light'; grants a holy shield when word of glory is used as well as an overshield of the amount overhealed by. Word of glory can help the healers as well and reduce your dmg by shielding yourself as well..
i still dont understand how ppl know bout stats n all tht, i mean where do u learn this stuff? let me take a guess at it tho, a palla tank needs stam obviously, strength, dodge and ... tht all? parry? n a mage would need hit ratin, haste, sp and crit along with stam and intel or a rogue, hit, haste ap? am i on the right track?
@Brady2k10 More or less. Paladin tanks rely on the same stats all tanks do; Stamina/Mastery/Dodge/Parry. Strength isn't too important to focus on due to the simple fact that gear will generate any strength you may be lacking, or you desire. A Mage is a dps class, meaning 100% of the spells/abilities that don't hit, don't do damage, so Hit Rating is prime. Haste is a bonus too. And Spell power is an obvious given. For a Rogue; Agility, Attack power. Mastery affects all classes differently.
Thanks for the compliments guys! I've got a couple more videos on the way. Since the holidays are now over and I have a bit more time, I can crank out more videos =) Don't forget to subscribe because more will come!
