It's my new sound sistem Edifier s550

I just owned my Edifier S550 yesterday. My sound card is Asus Xonar D2X, the sound is great. Very clean and clarity sound. I don't like a music with huge bass because the whole music was disrupted by the bass. What I need is balance high, mid and low with clarity high, clean mid and deep low. That's why I choose Edifier S550.

@iCr4ZyOrOcHi The S550 just have better satelites, way better than the ones in the Z-5500. On the other hand, the amplifier and the SoundTouch controller on the Z-5500 are diamonds, especially the amp. The subwoofer seems to be a little better too. 2 radiators on the s550 and a port on the Z-5500 (a huge one) with level 6 bass reflex.

I've owned Z-2300 1,5 years now and I decided to buy Z-5500 too. I own Z-5500 a couple of days now. But I haven't listened to the s550. I can't judge precisely.

I got a Z-5500 and yes, I agree there is a lack of mids, but the bass is less "boomy" as reviews say and I'm really satisfied with it. I mostly listen to rap and electronic music so that's a system that does what I need... still, the price is pretty nice for it's power.

I bought a new S530D but it does;nt really give the kind of treble which other speakers give and therefore the final music output is not that rich. i have tried all the possible settings but still the sound quality which i expect is not there. even my car system gives me better treble and richer sound. is there any means by which i can improve it.. say like adding extra tweeter? is it the problem with the tweeter or the amplifier ???

mine is edifier x600, designed to have magnetic shield that prevents PC hardwares to get linked with subs. So its ok for my PC and my sub sit along side by side although it has wooden wall between them two.

best example is steve meade... he bought a fat ass 1080 cam which is for skydiving and loud activities. it has a VERY good sound quality but the bass produces probs^^
