  • I just wanted to pay respect to user Wolfshead2, who put together a perfect -- given the nature of the song -- set of images.

On JJ's album, Rain, the song that follows this one is "Rush Across the Road". It sounds quite uplifting on the surface, but deep down, I think, it's a meditation on how we often have only a split-second opportunity to decide to connect/re-connect with someone. User frankierocks1000 put it really well in his comments.

The whole album is a must-listen.

  • This is as deep as yourt soul can go..BRAVO JOE..GREAT SONG.

  • I never heard this song..this CD never got airplay or promotion in the USA..very pwoerful and interesting song. One of Joes best,

  • Thing is we ALL need hugs but loads of people don't get it and so want to leave this planet, and I mean PERMANENTLY. So go smile at someone you see alone in a bar or the street. Give even a tiny bit of love and you will be MEGA amazed at the love you get. GO ON SMILE AT SOMEONE YOU DON@T KNOW - you can do it! x x x

  • one must wonder if this is a commentary on his current emotional state... bereft of any connection to others....so bleak and painful

  • I'm not much on videos but this piece is so powerful (as it was at the Charlotte NC show in 11/08) and very emotionally moving that it works in a wierd way. I can't wait to see Joe live again.
