Dude I saw the thumbnail preview of this video. I clicked on this video because I was gonna watch a video with christopher walken in it. Maybe this lady is his sister or something. Creeeeeppy!
Why does the little girl talk like a caveman? lol. SO GLAD I never saw this as a kid; this scene alone is creepy. Can't imagine how bad the whole movie must be. >.<
I saw this movie as as child and it was the scariest thing I had ever seen, I was terrified to look in mirrors because I was so sure I would see a blindfolded Karen.
Disney's crowning achievement of Horror. Probably the one, I know, I know, you The Black Caudron, the only animated film to get a P.G. ever, but Watcher in the Woods, made today would probably get a PG-13. It's that spooky. I think alot of children films from the 70's and 80's would be PG-13 nowadays. I think that's why us of that generation are really messed up. I mean come on you have this that scared us, then you have Optimus Prime die? How sick is that?
@chotzrary but, being that he is a machine, he can come back...that's always the cool thing about machines..they never die, and computers always go in for repairs...look at the Terminator...how many times has arnold died?
@yankeegurl62 Very true, but remember how sad alot of got after watching the movie? It was terrible, Optimus Prime died? It was unheard of that a cartoon ever died. But, yes he did come back, first as a zombie like thing and then he did come back and really died.. Remember when StarScream back and possessing a minion or something. Those cartoons then were so cool.
yeah this movie was the scariest thing when i was younger i have just ordered it again and when it comes im gonna watch it with my friend dante and be all scared again hoooooo yeeeaaaaahhhhh!!!!!!
i remember remembering this title since i was like 7 from the disney headless horse video, i never looked it up until then..i dunno if i wanna watch it tho looks kinda boring =P
OMG I remember watching this with my cousin a long time ago and we thought it was the scariest thing ever so she made me rent it again and she had a sleepover with her friends and me and they thought it was lame. I was like we clearly arent watching the same movie lol
OMG scary disney movies in general were my childhood. I remember this but I thought it was cool, that leprechaun movie with that freaky banshee, and the return to oz movie. Disney needs to go back to makin creepy kid movies theyre amazing!!!
No chance of that. The late 70s and early 80s were a strange period for them---they were a small studio that was very behind the times, and they couldn't get audiences anymore. So they started making some very different, very odd movies in an attempt to recreate themselves. Problem was, they were too chicken to go all the way. The result was a bunch of movies, like this one, that had great potential but ended up watered down.
This was before Eisner came in and turned it into a corporate giant.
I used to be obsessed with this movie when I was 5 years old. I wonder what that means as a grown up. Are we more likely to believe in the supernatural/occult?
My mum got it out for me and my brothers from the video shop to watch while she went out....I have never again been so scared - really want to see it now and see if it has the same affect......

Yeah. Kyle and Kim Richards are both Paris Hilton's aunt.

Us children of the 80's could watch this over and over again. What does that say about us? We're grown up and spooked.
