@UltraXryder I would recommend checking the forums if you already haven't (cpuk in the trade/sale section or terraforums in the trade section). They're becoming a lot more common and some people have tons. cascade is out of stock and carnivorousplantnursery is also out. you can sometimes request to reserve a plant from them (especially california carnivores will do special requests occasionally).
if you don't have luck, i can see what i can do in about a year from now.
@heckler171 There are certain types of bog plants that have beautiful flowers. Sundews can be combined with the types of flowers capable of growing in the nutrient poor soils, like peat or sphagnum. But be sure not to use normal soil, like miracle gro potting soil, since this will kill the sundews. There are a few types of carnivorous plants that can handle more nutrients in the soil. Cephalotus is good in this regard, and has been successfully grown in miracle gro soil.
Hi i have a question about sun dews, i really want one and if we do of course we order it but does it come come the mossy stuff intead of dirt, and if not what do you use for dirt
@Gengaurd The "mossy stuff" will work just fine and is referred to as dead long-fibered sphagnum (or it can be purchased when it's still alive). Alternatively, the media I use is called sphagnum peat moss, which can be purchased at garden shops or home/lawn/garden superstores. I also mix in rinsed silica sand, from a pool shop, which helps maintain a good soil consistency with sufficient drainage. For more info, check out the "getting started" article on the growsundews site.
I love this. I have cape and spathula, I need one of these. I have searched on the net all night but no where seems to carry them. Can you point me in the right direction please? Thanks.
@atomic626 Yes- it is a beaut! Unfortunately, vendors are always sold out of them except for a few times of the year. Cascade Carnivores carries them ~ once a year, around this time in the spring, but they're around $30 for a medium plant. Otherwise, what I'd recommend doing is going to CPUK forum in the trade/sales section and start a new post offering to purchase one there. You might get a few responses if you're lucky, but keep trying and someone will usually have an extra one to spare.
Gerrr, so hard to find!
Any tips where I may find one, or do you have any for sale?

@STFUbelgium :) sounds like someone had their latin screwed up when they gave this plant its English name lol.
