Revolutions per minute is one those albums that I'll be listening for a long long time, 'cause I feel like I uncover something I probably overlooked in prior playthroughs.
Two of the greatest in my opinion.. and they are 100% correct about money and music... just make great music leave that Hip-Pop to Pop artist. Can't wait till Reflection Eternal 2, REAL MUSIC! Train of Thought is on its way to the station!
"If you make music for the money, your destroying everthing..."... yeah i bet Hi-Tek did those G-Unit collaborations for the love off Hip-Hop.. fuck off, you dirty phony mf.
man hi-tek has always stayed true to hip hop...look at every album he has...he has such a big name he doesnt have to produce songs for Talib or Raekwon...just because he makes beats for big artist doesnt mean he has sold out...you are reaching two different conclusions
who do you think approached who? 50 can't release acapellas!! Hi Tek did it so he can use the money to invest in some real hiphop for himself.. (in my opionion) radio gots ur frequency off bro!
I don't listen to radio because their is to much crap on it. Hi-Tek shouldn't been talking about staying true and making music for the love and not for the money... because he doesn't, hes a commercial cat... and so is Talib. These guys hang out with Kanye and 50, this isn't underground anymore. And i wouldn't care if they haven't presented their self as an underground act, but claiming something your not is simply just ignorant and phony.
Yes i mean they are the greatest and i was feeling what they said about money and music but they kinda went against what they just said when they shouted out one of the main hiphop artist to do it just for the money. 50
Big Fan Talib Kweli and Hi tek still listen the reflection eternal. People that i cool with don't understand why i listen to talib kweli, the roots, common, jean grae, and etc. they have more to say in their music. no diss to other mainstream artist but rapping about money, drugs, sex, and the club is watered down and boring. Can't wait til the album drop.Ever since waiting for the dj came out i been listening to talib ever since then. He flip my whole music style. l listen smooth jazz also.
definitely can't wait for this new reflection album.
the first one was groundbreakin and classic. I heard it when I was 14 while the kids thats 14 now listen to soulja boy. lets support these brothers and bring real hip hop back to the forefront.
