What made me a loyal fan of this series (since the first game on PSX) is deep customization and the smooth controls.

@AliceBoxOfChocolates Smooth controls? Hell no, but that's part of the appeal. Good luck becoming good at these games, but once you do... You feel like a god. the old games didn't even give you the option of dual analog. You had to be pretty boss to master those controls.

dang, noblesse oblige is way slow with his quick boost.. I remember I had a base build that I used for all my units. I had a permaboost sword unit and I just used that as my base. Usually used the same parts but with different weapons and occasionally head. everything was changed due to cosmetics. but I miss this game / :

@dbzandroid13 Armored Core is like a game where you build a mechanical soldier (or suit for one to fight in- I don't know) and go on a bunch of missions that do different things (get you different parts, more money, etc...). Don't have this one yet, but I've played these before. They're pretty cool if you like to customize the way you go about doing things. You might go for speed, weapons with high damage or high ammo, more solid armor- whatever.

haha what a joke the effects of those laser cannons are just worse than in AC4, at least thats my opinion. They look more like bullets than lasers.

i only wished AC had more variety with it's melee it's always the frontal side swing there's no alternative swing or combos unless you put a second blade on it's other arm and even like that, that's the only thing i wasn't really a fan of... this game was definetly design for mid/long range combat not hand to hand combat :/

I love the way Noblesse Oblige looks. But that's where it ends, the whole build doesn't work, he isn't EN efficient enough to use those beautiful cannons on his back, he's too heavy for that blade, and the rifle just doesn't do enough on it's own. 

I seriously have about 200 schematics of AC's with those back cannons, and MAYBE 5 of them are useable.

It's more for show, really. Like White Glint, it's not at all useful, not with my playstyle that is.

@ravenx501 : It's a pretty ordinary general part, with borderline average stats. the only thing the mech has advantage with it's it's laser wings, which can pack a mean punch. but that's only easy to use when the computer is using it, they don't need to tune their AC's for their weapons to hit you, they just got to shoot. as for you, that's another story.

I use a slightly revamped versn of the old White Glint from armored core 4... I'll set it up against Noblesse and get back to you on who win's, i'll make it best 2/3 so its seems more fair for the CPU.

@gabe0login : and it's pretty understandable why it's on the mech, the blade it uses is the longest one in the game, and this mech is built around general-use parts. but yes! you could replace it, but that's only for your personal use. Like me, I got the For Answer white glint version, which is built heavily on defense and air supiority, and re-customized it into a high-speed, offensive aggressive sexy mech.

When I had this game I was always trying to mix Noblesse Oblige with White Glint, but I never had a good outcome. I ended up sticking with White Glint the most.
