  • Doesnt that leave your neck extremely exposed if for some reason you fail to execute it properly?

  • this is all wrong, expert village sucks

  • i did it all wrong i did the opposite side of the knee the whole time and they got out so easy

  • you can really hurt people with these. legs bending wrong ways and such

  • @Simontubby12 well yeah its not meant to feel good

  • His legs only went up because he felt a weird stick in his butt.

  • Muy buena técnica

  • this wont work in jiu jitsu because theyre most likely going to lock their legs over your one leg

  • try a different angle damnit. Didnt learn much.

  • @BubbaRyan

then you dumb fool! you dumb!

  • good point i dont think ur opponent is going to have his leg in the air waiting for u to submit him...

  • for up kicks if u do mma bro

  • I think they're making an instructional video. If you were in a competition or whatever and have practiced it you can simply lift his leg up from under the knee.

  • knee bars are fucking dangerous man .. never apply them full power on your training partners

  • @Qyama a heel hook is probably worse.

  • shouldnt do knee bars full speed in training but, yeah evreybody should learn them. esp in a real fight.

  • kinda dangerous, my sparring partner would try some crazy shit like a guillotine if i tried that spin around move on him.

  • can this work, even if they have a closed half guard?? or do they need to be waving there leg in the air awaiting a leg lock like in the video??

  • Heres a tip, figure 4 your legs when kneebaring. Tighter. Safer. More leverage.

  • If you figure four, then you're not clamping his knees with yours, and they can swing around. Plus, the way he did it (across the other leg instead of being on the same side as the leg) he is pretty stable since his weight is pinning the other leg and part of his hips to the floor

  • Wow, do you know what a triangle choke is? That is a figure four, if you want proof as to the bad form. watch Barnett Nog and see why nog doesnt tap. If you want more info go check out Sambo Steve, and learn from his kneebars. He is a super nice guy and would love to show you how to apply a proper submission.

  • I never heard of Sambo Steve but searching on youtube with "sambo steve knee bar"... it looks more like crossing the feet than a figure four, which looks nothing like a figure-4 of a triangle choke as you referenced

  • Ok I have been dealing with youtube bullshido for a while now, and my tone was not conducive for a healthy dialogue, I apologize.

If you are triangling your legs correctly, i.e. squeezing knees, pulling heels to butt, flexing feet backwards, and pigeon toeing both feet, the control of the knee is unsurpassed.

If you would like further explanation, please send me an im and if I am close to your area I would be more than happy to do a seminar for you.

  • @sarsattacks real name calf crush hurts like a bitch i apply it alot and so many tapouts from it

  • stupid n00bs you dont push with your groin' you amplify the preassure with your upper body your lowerbody is just there to keep his/hers tighs in place, i think cliging your legs together would solve the problem..

  • The groin area is the leverage point. So if you push your groin forward and pulled back with your upper body. The other guy is gonna tap!

  • lol you're the n00b, you n00b! It's the same when you do an armbar, the hips is the part which makes contact with the breaking points, so you want to stick your hip out as you are extending your back. This is how people do armbars when stacked and can't really extend; they tap because its because of the pressure in the hips

  • different angle please

    lol

  • well u gotta pinch the knees together

  • it fuckin hurts youre balls though

  • On knee bars, if you squeeze your knees together, it puts the pressure onto your thighs instead of your nuts.

  • jproducts

Yeah it might hurt.... if your balls were located above your penis.

  • One question.. I can the knee bar, everytime I do I hurt my own balls.. when am pressing the leg up..I know in fights they use like ballpretection and stuff... but is it any smart way to avoid this or am I just doing it wrong? please reply:)

  • On knee bars, if you squeeze your knees together, it puts the pressure onto your thighs instead of your nuts.

  • not bad

  • nice video guys that helps alot!!!
