Deer hunting at this park is done by drawn Special Permit only. All drawings have been held for this year. This park will have a squirrel hunt on Dec. 16-17, 2009. To hunt squirrel during these 2 days, hunters need a valid TX hunting license plus a $48 Annual Public Hunting Permit (available from any license location) or a $20 Regular (daily) Hunting Permit (issued at the park). Squirrel hunts end at noon, are shotgun only and all squirrel hunters must check in at the park Headquarters.
