  • @TheMasterOfSounds sounds like your computer has an issue. Try another computer. Mine plays okay. Maybe, you need the latest flash player from adobe.com. Also, clearing your temporary internet file helps, sometimes... Good luck.

  • -Lingala or Congolese music.-from Zaire or Kinshasa

  • which music video did MICHAEL JACKSON use that move?

I LOVE YOU MICHAEL JACKSON. kanda bongo man rox!!

  • why are most of his not even congolese?....

i guess his not popular in congo...

His style and music just dont match with koffi, werra, fally, Jb and many more!

What a lost to his own cause.

  • Trust me, he was and still is. He and Diblo and company are considered Godfathers of soukous 90;s craze. believe me, he is a class above Ndombolo nonsense of Kofi, werra, fally and the rest.

  • what ever it is..This guy is awsome..Love his tunes..His songs are pure soukous. Thanks Kanda for good music.

  • I believe it's called soukous.

  • I grew up with this song and a great song too.

  • Nice song kanda man, keep it up. Iam from Sudan New singer in north America.

  • kada bogoman

  • kada bogoman

  • can I have the lyrics please?

  • Does anybody has the video Africa Mousso of Aurlus Mabele by any chance?

  • This is the kind of Soukous in from the mid 80s till the mid 90s when soukous gave way to Ndombolo. Despite the shift, soukous stands out clear, I remember the likes of Alain Kounkou with the Soukous Masters, Jean Papi, Kanda Bongoman, that was a great period and brings good memories and feelings that money cannot buy. Thanks for posting. We need more old stuff.

  • As an impartial (and hopefully well-informed) American listener, ndombolo seems to be equivalent to mor lam sing from Laos and Thailand ... some of it is very exciting, in my ears anyway, but there's a lot of bland and formulaic crap, too. Although first-generation soukous usually isn't as /intense/ as the very best of the ndombolo material, I still prefer the older style for its musicianship, which is almost always superior.

(Kanda Bongo Man still plays, right?)

  • @ebfisa you are so right all we have now is competition and stupid techno malewa !!! i am so tired of it. all the younger guys coming up need to go back to soukous and not kill each other on who has the best atalaku.

  • @ebfisa dont 4get Alus mabele

  • Yep, those were the days!

  • this music reminded of dec 1995 when i was in form one..eih this music was a hit in the village..thanks for posting. i like it

  • reminds me of cross country trips my dad used to play this to death
