@darkdancer65 thanks for that info im due in may and was thinking of just getting through the contractions. and then getting this before i push.. that needle in my spine i couldnt take... lol.. can you tell me how well it worked ?

@SpokenFloetry it works pretty well (they do a few quick needles - but trust me at that point you really aren't bothered too much by it) you can still feel your contractions in all of their glory, but you shouldn't be able to feel the crowning at all. I couldn't get the epidural either, and they had to do a vaccuum extraction (I wasn't able to feel it)
