i think the best recording of this song is on R&R animal its realy realy the best and in colombia they have the best of white light and in holland they have the best weed and hash ,and heroin in afghanistan i think thats why we there
I was at that show, sitting right in the front. I remember how Lou's hands were shaking really hard at the begining of the show. If I remember right, he hadn't performed in a while - not sure if he was just nervous, or some drugs or a combination figured into it.. great show...
I love the band,Fernando Saunders on fretless bass.Fred Maher on the drums. And The amazing Robert Quine on guitar.Fucking awesome line up.Great gig at the Bottom line club.Greenwich village. Thanks so much for posting m8.
was has this man never become super popular. It's a wonder to me why he is so underground. I know he does not try to be famous, but damn he is so good. VU was also great.
They get anyone to sing back-up??? Sorry to be critical :) Thanks for posting.

IF you look at the drummer, I can now see where Matt Cameron of Soundgarden/Pearl Jam got his style.

is it just me, or does Lou Reed look like 'doc' from 'back to the future ?!?!

He also looks like Jason Newsted formerly of Metallica

Yeah, I'm glad to see that Maher was mentioned here too, cause he's one of the greatest musicians from the NT avant rock scene on the 70's / 80's.
BTW, fantastic version!!!

On the drums we have the amazin' Fred Maher, a great drummer from the NY avant rock scene on the 70's / 80's.
