Aoc has undergone quite afew content updates, the game is finally becoming what it was meant to be, a bad ass top of the line mmo. Only the skilled players should play now, clickers get raped and any sin that wants to try to tank will as well. The pvp is technical as hell compared to other mmo pvp where all you have to do is hit a macro key to do 10k crits, you actually have to earn your kills here. Clickers, tanking clothies, stay away if you cant step up your game.

yeah the last month there been like 5 huge updates whit new drinks pets and people that played for a long time gets a new special points/cash to buy epic stuff for:)

and next year a new expansion pack is coming whit new mounts places and alot of cool stuff! so just go buy that game card:D

World of warcraft reached out to a new player base that had nothing to do with MMO's previously - if you have never played a previous MMO you will think WoW is the best just because you enjoy it. Now WoW i wouldn't really call an MMO these days, its more of a bitch take - looking for money.

Do some research into TRUE MMO's you will find age of conan is a TRUE mmo, its nothing to do with skills.

PVP in AoC is more unique in the sence you cant just press 1 button to use a skill fully; You have to press other keys along side it to produce a full combo; So no its not button mashing.

i have a 42 assassin and you can use combos while you move, if you play smart you can charge them up... then stun them with momentum and then finish that last move on the combo...

hope the gameplay gets patched... it kinda sucks still: for example, i play an assassin aswell since the day before yesterday. now at lvl 21, almost 22 ^^ now because of the gameplay: it sucks that you have to stand still to cast the combos --.-- the opponent can sprint away from you and wait until the cast is finished, sprint back and whitehit you. sure... you can do the same or just chase with whitehits (normal hits without special dmg) but thats no fun!! hope it gets changed.;D greetz

Assassins = Abuser.

1. Stealth/cloak/hide (whatever the name is used in any game).

2. Stun/sleep/blind/paralize etc.

3. Attack until their previous debuff expire.

4. cloak/stealth/hide again until cooldown expires.

5. repeat 2 to 4 until opponent is dead.

You just described a rogue in WoW and that kind of abuse of skill is only possible in WoW. You cant hide if you are in combat and stuns in AoC does not last 15 to 25 sec like WoW so dont compare it(it last at most 2 to 4 sec), besides here any class has stuns . Assassins in AoC are not overpowered, they do have possible the highest damage output but they die faster than a priest of mithra if they get hit lot. In AoC is skill that is require to own not only what class you play.

Right on man, im running a E6550 oc'd to 3.2ghz 2gigs of ram and a 8800GTS 320... but because of Conan im ordering 4gigs and 2x ATI 3870's to run crossfire(my board is crossfire) Glad someone has a similar build though gives me an idea of performance cant wait till fileplanet open beta! hope i get a key!
