@weasel4442 Yeah kinda weird isn't it. An anime where the english dub is better than the original.....Well, actually thats not true. They both perform equally in my mind. Both really good. But I do think some english dubbed anime are better than their original counterpart. Here are some to name a few: Devil May Cry, Ghost Story, and Chrono Crusade.

It might be offensive to American buddhists though... esp since both systems have monks so the original line could work with either. And even if buddhists are rarish, most of the american public knows about them and can be amused at such a simple reference. A change like this just screams of 'oh no! parents might be angry if we even LOOK like we might be exposing children to something non-Christian! better change it so there is no doubt what kind of monk!'

They're known for their derranged animation and odd jokes. Rather fittingly for this show.

It's not how she played it, its how her voice sounded. Also in the English Dub they changed Ichijo's lines to suit Christianity instead of Buddhism: They changed "We should become monks" to "We should devote ourselves to god." because apparently to Funimation Buddhism doesn't exist, that's worse than when 4kids changes the Nationality of their characters. It's not right, Japan has a lot of Buddhists, this show was made in Japan, so I see no reason to change Ichijo's lines to suit Christianity.

ALL DUBS rework dialogue. That's why they have WRITERS and not just translators.

I love this show! XD so random and insane!!! And sooo many good charaters that your just more likely to have more then one favorite.

My Faves are Ichijo (the strange class rep) you never know wat could happen around her O.o,

Himeko "Maho!" XD(the Spazz) Shes so crazy and wierd who seems to love lobster, Miyako (the brain) shes such a funny anger problem nerd, and Serizawa (the drama nerd) Always dressing up like something its great! XD
