Also, grab him as much as possible, BE CONSCIOUS of any available grab opportunities you may have, especially when he does that move where he pulls you towards him: If you get the timing down with Balrog and charge a move while you are being pulled in, you can hit him every time and open him up for combos.
Balrog is the shit. Supposedly his combos are the hardest to get fluent at because of the
strict timing thats required to execute them, but once you get the hang of it you'd definitely be a challenge to anyone who comes your way. It is rare I get beat when challenged online, RARE. And oh yeah, I beat Seth on the setting "Very hard" after i'd say like 11 times... It was no doubt that he'd get his ass handed to him in the first round no matter what, but the second round is the challenge.
guys, Seth is tough, just like Gill, because his top and bottom defenses are nearly impossible to break through. His middle though, is not protected at all; he can't guard it with a super move, or with a normal attack, he has to block. The way to beat Seth? Dodge a lot, hit him in the gut a lot, and don't be so airborne.
for example, an attack to Ryu's gut, can be stopped with a Hadoken, or even an axe kick, the axe kick protects his top and his middle. An attack to most other character's middle, if timed properly, can be stopped with a middle punch, or, a move unique to the character. All characters in the SF universe, are well balanced in that they are all protected with some move or other, on top, middle, and below, EXCEPT Gill and Seth.
In street fighter, blocking isn't the only way to defend the top, middle or bottom portion of a character; every character has a punch, kick, or super move, that protects a specific area. Ken, Ryu, Akuma and Sagat are overwhelmingly powerful, because their uppercuts protect all three parts, it is a total defensive move. Seth and Gill, have no techniques, regular or super, that protect their mid portion. If anything Seth's vacuum move actually EXPOSES him, if you react fast enough.
I've won 1 round against Seth on Hardest with E. Honda and Sagat. I tried for 20+ fights, but I couldn't beat him.. fingers got too tired spamming hard kicks. But I believe Sagat has the best chance of beating him with hard kicks.

Just a small tip, once he starts trying to get in some serious damage on you, don't bother trying to get out of it into a comeback, just block until it's over, then start using all of your techniques until he starts again, it's tricky!

I certainly agree. And I offer this advice just in case it might help a little, I'm not saying its brilliant.
Stay on the ground. When he starts teleporting over and over, 3rd time he will be behind you, so sometimes you can sometimes catch him with hard kick before he throws you.
I beat him with Guile after about an hour of trying, and without any supers or ultras, just a matter of blocking a lot and kicking and throwing. Sometimes right when he gets up you can throw him. Do that often.
I kind of like Seth's design. Has that pure government experiment feel down pat, although I agree it was messed up how he cheated Ken right at the end. Still cool though I don't want some push over boss, too many games have lame final levels these days.

i know that, it's not as if they were going for the best graphics or anything it's just a differen't look. the characters still have a drawn/art feel to them, not like they made them completely 3-d-real like tekken characters. also even though it's 3-d characters it's still on a 2-d plane. no side-stepping or rotating around characters, and it didn't suck like other 3-d turned 2-d fightings so isn't it ok? as for myself, i wanna try blaze blue out heheh

more like a mix of all sf4 characters and Gill (not urien). His movements are identical to Urien, and he has a similar look. All of his moves are identical to sf4 characters as well (He is supposed to be the genetic makeup of the ultimate fighter)

C. Viper - unlocks Cammy
Ryu - unlocks Sakura
Sakura - unlocks Dan
Abel - unlocks Fei Long
Chun Li - unlocks Gen
M. Bison - unlocks Rose
set rounds to 1 and make it the easiest mode, it'll pass time quicker.
For Akuma and Gouken just type it into Google.

This is when he starts to teleport like a lil prick. Stay still while he teleports if you do he'll only do it three
times. right after the third time Seth teleports just hit him with a medium punch and dont hit a direction. If you do that,
you'll get him everytime, just work on the timing. Hope this helps. LAta

if 2D fighting games couldn't last they would have been long gone by now,but thanks 2 kof,guilty gear,and the upcoming blazblue,2D fighting games will always be around,i would say mugen but that doesn't really count since its not really "offical" lol

i know that, it's not as if they were going for the best graphics or anything it's just a differen't look. the characters still have a drawn/art feel to them, not like they made them completely 3-d-real like tekken characters. also even though it's 3-d characters it's still on a 2-d plane. no side-stepping or rotating around characters, and it didn't suck like other 3-d turned 2-d fightings so isn't it ok? as for myself, i wanna try blaze blue out heheh

more like a mix of all sf4 characters and Gill (not urien). His movements are identical to Urien, and he has a similar look. All of his moves are identical to sf4 characters as well (He is supposed to be the genetic makeup of the ultimate fighter)
