  • I want to try this. I have lots of general anxiety and social anxiety to a lower extent and my doctor recommended meditation which seemed to help a little after a while. Do you think this could help me confront those issues and get better?

  • beautiful tatto

  • Hey man, right on! Thanks for sharing!

  • I wanted to see what your thoughts were on smoking pot before getting into a tank. I really want to explore my mind and I have read that smoking before will really throw you into another world. I was curious if you have done this yourself, or if you have heard directly of someone experience with that.

  • Dude Is it like in any way scary like will u feel like anxiety or something??

  • No it's a stupid tattoo

  • great vid i have to do this! sexi tat tho=)

  • Well said. Thanks for sharing. I feel I'm in the same head space you are. My first tank experience will be this coming Friday.

    Love = Energy = God

    God = Love = Energy

    Energy = God = Love

  • ur a good guy. u just need to get the fuck out of LA. i was in LA for 3 years. it fucking killed my spirit. or more precise, it stomped on my spirit and ground it into the dirt.

most everyone in LA are just dead fucking souls walking around in an empty shell. i can see it in everyone's eyes, and it saps your strength from from u day in day out. the whole fucking city is encompassed by this dark force. fuck LA.

  • the internet tonight for me was a blessing in many senses of the word. i will get on tomorrow to see if youv respoded and i want to say thank you and much much respect for doing what your doing, not only in your own life, but utilizing youtube to convey your beautiful thoughts. thank you

  • I see that you believe in ALOOOOOOOT of the same exact things ive been developing in my mind. i have been using drugs and meditation, particularly ayahuasca and dmt in other forms, but these things seem to me to have the same exact phenomenal kind of... i dont know how to explain it its late. but i would looove to get in contact with you in some way, even just a few messages would be more appreciated than some would think is possible.

  • @johnlennon100 hey, if u do the research you'll find that epsom salt is antibacterial, so with the filter chloride is unnecessary. ;)

  • Hey lukas.. I have an appointment to go in the tank next thursday. Was far away because apparently there is only one in all of ontario, canada.. I am stooookkkkeeedd! And I am honestly thinking of opening a spa offering different rooms with the tanks and I haven't even been in yet. I have done all kinds of stuff trying to find that "peace" that essence of self .. And ahhhh I just can't wait!

  • iv just herd of this from my friend and im super pumped to do it and i cant wait and the way that i can tell u r feelin from this its gonna b awsome. like how u have 2 tell people about it i think u would really dig this book if u read its called the celestine prophcy and it talks about that over whelming joy u get and u actually give off energy 2 other people and thats kinda what it sounds like u r doing when u get out just giving off an emense amount of positive energy. cant wait 2 try it

  • btw forgot to tell you I love you :)

  • hey bro i really liked this video.. got be honest got real emotional by the end of this video... life is such a great thing and we spend it worrying over nonsensical bullshit...

Is there any way to do this without an isolation tank?

  • wow man your soo right love u dude keep it up.

  • I have to try this

  • how much does it usually cost

  • Great video man. You have shown your true colors in this vid. Good shit!

  • damn dude how much did it hurt getting that tat? sick video tho, i definitely have to try this one day sounds extremely beneficial

  • You're awesome, I love you.

  • What the tank does is that it forces you to be in contact with your very being. In this "information age" of being bombarded with information every single minute of every single day, we are being distracted from our very selves. When one is no longer receiving any "outside" sensory information what is left is the self; your very being. This is really what it's all about. The goal, if there is one, to life is simply be aware; not distracted. The tank is a great supplement to the spiritual path.

  • you are my friend brother :) keep it upp

  • WOOOW i love you share this

  • A bad ass body modded guy talking about Akira? Now I've seen it all.

  • With those piercings in your nipples I can't help but think that your nipples are pumping iron...

  • Hi, I just sat through this entire video listening to you and just got the best vibes from your conversation but the funny part is I really have no idea what sensory deprivation is or how it works but Id definitely love to try it. I was researching DMT and stumbled upon your video.

  • thanks for sharing!!! :D

  • You are very...symmetrical. Good vid.

  • very interesting sir

  • You are awesome. Your words are a great inspiration

  • LOL @ THE TATS

  • Man this dude is so chill.

  • So true! Well said keep the positive out look going!! Life is GOOD!

  • Thanks for sharing your experience and positive outlook.. You are absolutely right, we could really turn things around collectively if we focused on the positive rather than dwell on the negative. It IS possible to change your reality, and I speak from experience!

  • Can u go more in depth about ur experience? Rogan and others have said they had hallucinations and saw all kinds of eyes and stuff. I'm just wondering if that's common. I'm 18 and seriously considering doing this just so I can find myself and let go of all the bullshit and just let go

  • My question is: I have serious thoughts about going into a water tank with salt that other people have bathed in it. Are there any health issue concerning that? Does it also contain Chloride? Thanks!

  • @JohnLennon100 No chloride to my knowledge where I go. Just water and salt. I haven't heard of anyone who understands how to use the tank and used it properly who has had any negative effects at all. The vast majority of the impact this has on my is within my mind. My body feels relaxed and energized afterward from the release of gravity on my body. My mind is always in a better state than it was.

  • @lukaslarson Thanks. Do you know how they do to preserve mold, fungus, bacteria, viruses, or any other disease from people that could be ill to get transmitted to other people? My next question is ... Didn't you freak out after the feeling that you are isolated in a pitch black tank, all by yourself, getting into the unknown?

  • @JohnLennon100 The tank I use has a filtration system hooked up to it that runs before and after every use to filter and sanitize the water. The tank should be cleaner than any pool or jacuzzi, so if you don't get sick from those, and the tank you're using uses a similar system, then you should be fine. Talk to your floatation center about their practices.

  • wow it was great to see you be emotional about your realization of the limitless size to consciousness. You are most definatly expanding yours as we are all here and meant to do. I had never heard of this sensory deprivation before until just a few min ago when i caught a video from jo rogan, and then i saw this. i really am going to seek one of these places out to go have these experiences. IN LA KESH my friend.

  • Hey dude great video! You would love the secret. It always puts me in a fresh, positive state. I hope you see this comment.

  • @elitehunterz Not a big fan of "the Secret," but thanks for watching.

  • Well, I think you are better communicator than Joe Rogan ... I prefer your videos than his. Thanks for your advise and kindness.

  • @JohnLennon100 That's very kind of you. I'm frequently compared to Rogan, as for some reason we seem to be among the few people who speak publicly about this device. I'm a fan of Rogan's comedy, and I'm grateful that there are people out there showing the world this amazing tool. However, like most things that are good for us and take much effort, most people will never try it regardless of watching my videos or listening to Rogan's podcast. Thanks for the kind words.

  • Perfect example of "don't judge a book by it's cover"

  • Wow, what a great video. Thanks for reminding me that life isn't as horrible as I make it out to be. I need to try this tank! Does anyone know of any in Colorado?

  • your the best dude, so happy you made these videos about the tank. thank you

  • Comment removed

  • you are a great great great man. god bless.

  • that body tat is bad ass

  • hi interesting video.

Do you regret your tatoo nowadays? :D (serious question)

  • @r2d2rx I am very pleased with the art I have adorned. I am still a work in progress, and I think my tattoos over for years before expanding on them. I don't regret any of my body art. It has all been a very important part of my development in life.

  • Woah. You speak so pleasantly for your appearance good sir.

  • @restlesspride666 Whoa you're a condescending dick ,good....dick.

  • Thanks man I can't wait to try it. I live by Seattle wa and after watching this I'm gonna look up to see where I can find 1. Keep the videos coming.

  • ok, joe rogan.

  • well i think you're a legend for doing this, and don't really understand why people would put you down. It's really not worth acknowledging

  • Well spoken fellow.

  • you need that dutch to be happy sometimes bro !

  • Nice dude. I've actually never heard of these chambers. However, it makes perfect sense. I know the feeling of being in 100% subconscious. It's the best experience and I try my best to achieve it everyday if possible. but sometimes it can be extremely difficult because of the everyday noise. People walking in and out, doing dishes, closing doors. All in which are major distractions... but when it does work, I come up with insane ideas in HD!!! lol. Is it possible to build one of these things???

  • wow what keeps you from turning upside down and drowning in real life and not knowing about it?? i know its salt water but still?

  • @mrlance727 In over 50 years of people using this device, you one has ever drown. I fall asleep in it all the time, but as soon as I shift in my sleep I wake up. I don't think there is a way to be in such a deep sleep in there that anything bad could happen.

  • Love your tat man, really interesting choice and it looks so solid and clean, beautiful. Took me a minute to figure out if it was some kind of rubber suit or something.

  • Thanks man. I heard about this from Joe Rogan. I get on bad trips with drugs so I think this will give me the mind expansion I am seeking without the lack of control. Once again thanks for your openness! You're an authentic dude, keep it up.

  • speaking truth

  • That cardigan is too small for you and your nipples are poking through it.

  • amazing video! very informative

    thank you

  • Thumbs up for Akira reference :)

  • This is wonderful, you were smiling all the while you were recording. I must try a sensory deprivation tank. Thank you for the video, and I hope you're still happy!

  • You are an inspiration. Thank you, from New Zealand brother.

  • Hey man I found your video while researching isolation chambers in my area and I have to say, you are amazing. I feel the exact same way about how we perceive ourselves based on how others perceive us and it really is nonsense. We should never take to heart what others think they know about us when we can never even really full know ourselves. Thanks for making this video. It helped to reinforce some of the things I had already been thinking about. Also I wanted to ask, I have clostraphobia but

  • Word bro. Keep it positive.

  • Generous legend! Thanks brother.

  • im 16. Can i do this tank thing? Ive been really depressed lately. Being super anxious and for no reason. Ive been tempted to try xanax or weed again, but it really hasnt helped. Awesome video dude, i found this by watching joe rogan talk about this stuff

  • who else thought that there was an extra room and not a mirror behind him?

  • I have also experienced gnosis that confirms your statements about people forming your own perceptions of self trough their manipulation of your identity through your emotions. Emotions aren't real they are just a body respond for thoughts, and thoughts doesn't have to be real. I have payed for 10 sessions float tank and will use this as one of my tools for personal evolution, a tip; forward clicking the amygdala. I never write comments usually.

    Namaste.

  • Leaving cursor on advert at the bottom of the screen helps block out his nipples.

    For once i love ads.

  • You're so awesome! You made me want to go try one. Thanks! :D

  • Dude don't let anyone get you down! do your own thing! who cares what people on the internet say about fuck it! live life they way you wanna live life!

  • I'm so excited after watching this video and hearing Joe Rogan talk about these tanks. I can't wait to try it.

  • Maximum respect to you sir. Those were some inspiring words. It's good to know there's still people like you out there.

  • DUDE! I just had the tank session in venice a few days ago and the same thing happened! a crackhead lady went up to me and started talking to me and shit and asked for my number.... weird man

  • @lukaslarson commongroundpdx is where i floated. i actually became more frustrated because I spent $60 for the challenge of earplugs and dripping water, plus my eyes were sinking into the water which made them sting. do you think that maybe there wasnt enough salt to make me float higher? im not big, im 6ft 180lbs. i should float fine

  • @adamnorvell The only place I know anything about is Float Lab. I would say too little salt is the culprit for your unpleasant experience. If you weren't buoyant enough to stay above water with your eyes you were not buoyant enough. This would cause a bigger disruption in your body when you had breathed air into your lungs, and probably cause the waves that pushed you into the walls. I'd bring all this to their attention right away. They owe you another float in my opinion. Take care

  • @lukaslarson thanks man, i complained and they gave me a free float! much better this time.

  • @lukaslarson i just floated for the first time yesterday. I had a 2 hour float. All i can say is that I wasn't happy. I kept floating around and bumping the sides. My breathing would make me bob up and down and i could feel the waters edge all over my body. The water would condense and drip onto me every few minutes. How are you supposed to counter all this?

  • @adamnorvell I don't know where you floated, so I don't know what your tank was like, but as for the bumping into the sides; the trick is to not push off. Just let yourself touch and your body will naturally move away. If you push off with the slightest amount of effort you will bounce around the whole time like a pinball. The condensation is not acceptable for inducing actual sensory deprivation, so I'd bring that up. Your breathing may move you a bit, but it shouldn't move you too much.

  • @adamnorvell You should also keep in mind that the mere act of floating in water is unnatural, and takes time to adjust. This isn't for everyone, but with how amazing the effects are for some people, I'd at least try it again and see if you can settle your body. The benefits for me have steadily increased as my body becomes less resistant to the experience. Talk to the place you floated at and voice these concerns. Some may be the tank.

  • Encouraging words. I think I'll do this. Tried to remember where I had seen it, and of course, the Simpsons touched on it. Looking for some insight, like yourself. Thanks for taking the time to sit down.

  • Awesome insight! Your thoughts are inspiring, I feel privileged to have listened to this. Thanks again

  • TOOL is all bout that shit. More people need to listen to TOOL, SO DO IT!

  • i love that you love tool. and you are very insightful sir.

  • Down here we all float

  • thanks for the honesty in your video, im glad it made you feel awsome, am thinking of trying this out

  • Thank you for your video. I plan on going into a tank soon just so i can explore the consciousness. I found your video very insightful and would love to meet with you prior to ask questions. I'm LA native. send me a message.

  • Great video, thanks for sharing! Are you on facebook?

  • Huge nips

  • Amazing video. I've been listening to Joe Rogan's podcast. It led me to videos about the Isolation tank. It also led me to actually watch this video. I saw you and I was like eww...lol (sorry) but I gave you a chance and I am so glad that I did. I start judging books by their covers now. And are gonna judge people based on their decisions.

  • can u have realy bad trips in these tanks?

  • @laydowndogsed Some people get anxiety. The difference between a float tank and doing drugs is all you need to do is sit up and open the door and your trip ends!

  • @laydowndogsed Unlikely, but it is possible if you arent very mentally stable. But if you do have any bad trips you can stop it straight away so don't worry, you can just step out.

  • this vid made me feel great. good vibes man

  • @warrenkavanagh you would be surprised how many of these float tanks exist, they are every where

  • Now! that's what I want to hear Goddammit!... true to self, open, honest collage of consciousness, connection to everything!.

Thanks for you input and piece of your mindset. LARSON!, people like you helps me keep the faith in man a little longer...lol

I'm dying to try it out!.. that's just what I need, to hit the ERASE button!!.

    Best wishes!.

  • Oh Hai Kratos!

  • tomorrow I will be going to spacetime tanks in chicago for my first tank experience : )

  • great job, great ending. Well said-

    thx!

  • u seem 2 be a rly good dude, n u look awesome haha, i was jw if u had to be 18 or a certain age to go into one of these things??

  • if i ever try it imma smoke a blunt and eat a weed brownie before i go in there

  • that was good nice and u made me a bit happier to :)

  • really enjoyed listening to you...from london

  • dud thanks for being so honest I really appreciate ur video. i wana try out the tank but im scared cuz i can get very claustrophobic, shud i still try it?

  • this is amazing. I`m kris from canada , 2:03 am , and this message , this experience (ENLIGHTMENT!!!!)

HAS TO BE SPREAD , and youtube is one of the most positive things right now. PEOPLE HAVE TO CONNECT AND SPREAD KNOWLEDGE. (education!

    I thank you again!

  • Reminds me of Rage Against the Machines bass players tats

  • i have spent the last 4 hours on youtube watching joe rogan videos. his theories, his outlook, and his message about humanity in general. seeing this video of yours really drove the nail in. I am in such a strong rush of understanding right now and i just wanted to let you know this whole message of going beyond the media and the lies and bullshit to find true freedom and expansion of the mind is completely uplifting. i hope to one day be able to go into an isolation chamber.

  • I dont wanna b to judgemental but wtf is with that tatoo!!! Musta hurt like a whore WTF!

  • Great stuff man! Thanks for sharing the experience :D

  • yes!

  • @aaminaahmed2392 That chamber is actually much more advance because the "water" in the camber is actually breathable and therefore it is filled to the top... leaving you completely submerged yet unharmed. So counter-intuitive I don't think I could even try one

  • Man, I'm so happy for you to have been fortunate enough to try a deprivation tank. I am always in search of means to help my broaden my mind and explore my consciousness and after watching this video, you've convinced me that this is something I must do before I die. Preferably much sooner than later :P

  • It's upsetting that not alot of people share and agree with everything that you mentioned. But all we can do is try right?

  • Thanks man. This helped me a lot. I am going to give this a shot.

  • Sounds like something I could use, I'd rather do this then take an 8th of shrooms haha. How much do isolation tanks go for? or did you go somewhere that had one

I would build my own if possible...all i hear is positive story's about them

  • That's a cool tattoo, so they put u in salt water? I want to do that so it will be easier for me to Astral Travel. So can you do this by yourself at home some how?

  • great video bro... life's a trip

i want to try the isolation tank so bad :]

  • nice blackout work. This video makes me really want to go in an isolation tank

  • are you half black?

  • i need to watch things die, from a distance

vicariously i live while the whole world dies

you all need it too, so don't lie.....

    but remember......

all this pain is an illusion

  • Props brother, i feel that awesome energy, have you tried DMT ?

  • Hey Bro thanks for sharing your story. First off, cool beard! I love beard growing! Hey, today is the first day I ever came across "floataion tanks" and I'm very interested in giving this shit a try. I wish I lived closer to the beach so I could go near the ocean after the expierence. I'm slightly already fearing this isolation tank, I'm somewhat closterphobic (because I'm a bigger dude, 6'3 280#) do you have any problems with closerphobia? if so how did you deal with it while in the tank

  • I'm a lot like you man! I enjoyed the vid! I need to try one of those isolation chambers

  • im the first dislike :D

  • you're the fucking man!!! thanks for sharing, i cant wait to try this!!

  • cool video. Thanks for the info about the experience. I am going to float for the first time in a few weeks.

  • Talk about distractions, I was chaving my pubs while listening to this. I am doing it for sure though in like a week or two!

  • Hay mate, I just have to tell ya, it's 1.33 am in Perth, Australia, I never really comment on videos however i'd just like to say THANK YOU for the time you took to share this with the world. Ledgend. Also - awesome tatoo.

  • @Rhyseeboy Thank you for the kind words my friend. Glad to know I brightened the day of someone all the way in Australia.

  • @lukaslarson lol im from perth too and its 2:05 :)

  • @lukaslarson in the middle of a deep, sensitive, caring reflection.....this crackhead, she was probably just trying to fuck me...LOL.

  • I can't upvote this video enough. Thanks for being a humanfuckingbeing. Next beer is on me.

  • Bro. You are a real dude. Thank you so much for sharing your experience. It inspired me and just in the short time I watched this video it changed my perception on life. Thank you again. Peace and love.

  • Nice video and TOOL reference YEA!!!

  • and your mind set going in it will help on what u think about or visualize about. kinda like if i go in it with a mind set on the big ? of life and why we are here, would that be what i'd focus on more or would it be better not even to think and just go in it and see what happens then after expiriencing with it more often could u kinda control what goes down when u get in it and what thoughts u have and the conclusion/outlook you have of it all?

  • Hey man, ur a real dude and thats whats up. I been watchin stuff about these iso tanks and some of joe rogans expiriences and im becoming facinated wit it and i want to do it so bad. It seem to me when ppl talk about it that it is kinda like zoning out but its much more than just that.Is it somewhat like that?

  • Dude, this is cool. Great vid, thanks. I’m defiantly going to try this. Soon!

  • Our consciousness isn't just bigger it is biggest, it is all encompassing, infinite

  • Thank you for taking your time to make this video. It is awsome to see someone who is being real and sharing something that is close to your heart. Really cool bro

  • Thanks for the video. i just found out about this isolation chamber. I might try it out some day

  • How do you know when the time is up? Is there an alarm or something in case you fall asleep?

  • Just found your videos man, since I'm floating for the 1st time tomorrow. Your vids helped me get hyped and want to connect deeply with the experience. thanks. be well.

  • I can't wait to try this. Finally found a local place that does one hour sessions.

I actually find that if I smoke a hit of weed before bed...once I lay down and close my eyes...the more I "let go" and the less I try to control anything....I'll start seeing incredibly complicated forms, one right after the other. The more I just let it happen...the faster and more bizzare it became. Very similar to LSD...so much variety of form...one after the other after the other after the other. It's insane

  • Negative energy spreads like a disease. I went to Thailand for 2 weeks about 3 month's ago and I fell in love with the kind positive people there. When I got back home to Sweden I noticed how aggressive and negative the attitude is here.

So at first I just longed back to Thailand, but then I realized that maybe I can help changing the vibe just by being more positive.

So I started to say hi to everyone I meet and smile at them, and just this small change not only made me more happy...

  • But I've also noticed a difference in the people around me. They too smile more now, some of the smiles are just pure courtesy smiles, and I see how the think "what's he on?" but most of them seem genuine.

So it got me thinking, if pessimism works like a disease, then optimism is like a vaccine. It roots out the negative energy and replaces it with healthy positive energy.

If people stopped glaring sourly at each other, and instead smiled. Everyone would feel better.

  • @Remrau I like your philosophy.

  • You have tatoos like Tim Commerford (the bassist in Rage Against The Machine). and thats just awesome :) :)

  • you just got honest as f*ck ! good for you! im going to float lab for the first time tomorrow and u got me soooo excited!!!

  • bro nice body suitt

  • nice vid bro.. Its cool to see someone being real and open on youtube like you are with your experiences

  • @spunin I try to be honest about who I am and what is in my head. I'm proud of who I am, and I have no reason to pretend to be someone I'm not.

  • nice vid bro.. Its cool to see someone being real and open on youtube like you are with your experiences

  • well said brother. thanks for your genuine message. i feel like i am in the same boat. a 'tough' exterior but a sensitive interior.

i just got out of the tank myself. it was my first time so it didn't go super deep, but layers of the onion are definitely coming off! i plan to do it many more times. cheers to evolution.

  • Great description of a great instrument for exploration! I`ve tried it a couple of times and loved it, but its hard to find a good place to use regulary here. And the place I went to didn`t allow more than 45 minutes at a time, they didn`t understand the instrument and saw it as a spa treat. Guess I need to buy or build my own:)

    Thank you for sharing!

    Peace from Norway

  • Thanks man finally convinced me to do it.

  • Thanks for sharing, man. I hope to try this sometime in the very near future.

  • is that a special float tank wetsuit

  • @lyntonio

that's a really big tattoo. Not a wetside.
