  • the guy inside the bus looks alike to Hurley from Lost, so creepy... between sec 13-15

  • theres something wrong with the camera my camera does better

  • Thanks man, I have this new insane monitor donated to me and I had no idea I could alter the rezo. Cool. I figured I was missing something.

  • doesn't look all that great to to me. What am I missing?

  • @droid740 the 720p button?

  • @231karl It's still not great.

  • yeah but you have to upload in hd, 360p looks terrible

  • Very nice handheld camera work. If everyone posting on YT could learn to shoot like this it would be much easier on the eyes. I just purchased a Flip Ultra HD myself and have edited some test footage in Final Cut Express. The results are awesome!! I'm so excited I can hardly get to bed before 3 a.m., always editing and experimenting.

  • Looks great but On HD(youtube) it plays a tad choppy(or is that just me???)

  • how many fps does this thing get?

  • Got one for Xmas, image quality outdoors is amazing, but no image stabilization (which is noticeable in this movie) makes it useless. I returned it. Panasonic, Sony and Kodak have HD capabilities in movie modes of their small cameras. Can't take still shots with the Flip.

  • Omfg I can't wait to get mine :D

  • I have a question,

If I film a video with the flip HD and edit it in a editing software will it still be this good of quality?

  • Unless you use an analogue editing suite the footage quality will not be degraded by the editing process. Programs like iMovie, Final cut, Adobe Premiere, etc will maintain the resolution unless you actively choose to lower it for some reason.

  • Normally, this would be true. Except in this case you're editing a long gop interframe codec and not an intraframe codec.

Interframe uses keyframes and motion data to calculate inbetween frames.

Basically, if you edit the video on anything but a keyframe, the surrounding frames are re-encoded using the already lossy codec.

So in this case, you actually ARE degrading the footage with every cut (only the adjacent frames, but still).

  • i love how you an pick ot peoples faces in the bus easily

  • damn very clear
