  • Well, Flair pretty much owned Magnum there! On to part 2 now!!

  • I wonder what would've happened if Magnum hadn't had his accident. Flair was so jealous and possessive. That I wonder if he would've just stepped aside for Magnum or if Magnum would've just another Kerry Von Erich who gets the title for 18 days and then has to give it back to Flair for 18 long boring years. Flair=BORING IMO

  • He won with a belly to belly?

  • So you wanna be a professional wrestler? Hit the videos boys and girls and study the Master, the one, the only, Slick Ric Flair!

  • That was the best wrestling show ever bar none..

  • Financial empire? I hope it's not Ric Flair finance.

  • a ONE MAN hORSEMAN BEATDOWN!!!

  • WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • i lost a lil respect for ric flair @4:49 because that was a divas head bash move !

  • I remember good ol' David Crockett......as being a terrible announcer and you can not convince me otherwise on this.

  • @Sgtbigmike STREET SHOES! STREET SHOES! THE STREET SHOES!

  • The dirtiest player in the game

  • "Street shoes! Street shoes! Street shoes! Street shoes! Street shoes!" - David Crockett

  • classic nature boy.nobody better.totally lulled Magnum into thinkin he didnt want none, then took it to him.NOBODY TOUCHES MY CLOTHES!!!!!!!

  • You better believe I am watching all 3 parts of this! Thanks for posting. I sleep better knowing that when some young kid today, after watching the shit WWE puts on, says "Daddy, what is a promo?" The father can put this on and show his kid what a REAL promo was. This Golden era will never be matched again.

  • I love how Ric gets pissed "NOBODY touches my clothes!" Long live the Nature Boy!!!! Wheelin' dealin', kiss stealin', limousine ridin', jet flyin', son of a gun!!!

  • dirtyest player in the game

  • Rick Flair has been "The Man" as long as being the man was cool!

  • You don't ever dis' the Champ!

  • Classsic SWAGGER!

  • If Magnum hadn't had his motorcycle wreck, Flair wouldn't be a 16 time world champion now.

  • @stewartgrangerfan76 i think he still wud of, magnum wud of been world champion but i don't think he wudda been much more than a flash in the pan, he was very 80s with that tache and mullet, wcw started to go in a different direction in the 90s and i couldn't see magnum fitting in with sting, hogan, nash, hall etc

  • @stewartgrangerfan76 TA wrecked his porsche not a motorcycle

  • @stewartgrangerfan76 Car wreck.

  • Ric makes that suit look so damn good!

  • Whoooooo!!

  • flair was great but piper was the best back in the 80s

  • flair was so much better then anyone in the 80s witj his work and mic skills, i was the poster boy for what a great heel is!!!

  • you dont talk to a man like ric flair like that!!!!...look at um tony look at this...

  • One of the best lines....look at you. Geez, You look like Jethro Bodine. I saw you a while ago, you had that flower shirt on. You gotta be dressed right. Nobody touches Flair's clothes and gets away with it. Always willing to teach those young lions a little lesson. I love the alligator across the face at the end.

  • yes ric flair is the man

  • WOOOOOOOOO!!!!!

  • King of the Trailer Park

  • This is my hero

  • LOL!!!! Ric Flair just kicked the crap outta Magnum T.A.!!!!! You gotta love it. Magnum was a great wrestler, but Flair was the BEST wrestler/trash talker of all time.

  • "talk to your mother not me".. LOL!!!!

  • his hair needs some super skinny for the non-cotton look!

  • Nobody touches Flair. And he's STILL the man on the mic. The greatest EVER!

  • lmao winning a match with a belly to bell lool wrestling has changed alot

  • "NOBODY touches my clothes!"

Few can touch you on the mike either Ric.

  • This was a great feud and they always told great stories in the ring. Flair is without a doubt the greatest heel ever.

  • Magnum and Ric--the greatest feud that never was.....I know it would've been GREAT if they had the chance to face each other...the contests would've been classics

  • dickhead

  • Ric Flair: Quite simply the greatest athlete AND showman of all time.

  • LMAO,,"talk to your mother not me"

  • Those 5 second finishes Dusty, Magnum TA, and Jimmy Valiant had on TV were toally unbelievable.

  • u look like JETHRO BOdine lol

  • "Jethro Bodine" lol

  • Yeah I picked that up to. The Beverly Hillbillies sitcom character for those of you who don't know.

  • rick said talk to your mother not me to crocket ha ha ha

  • I think we are all overlooking the fact that Paul Garner is a wrestling God!

  • magnum's win was a total fluke...agreed

  • ric is the shit!!!!!!!!

  • @Lmachete305 no dout he really is

  • Flair was so smart too---he put over how great Magnum was at first, unlike today where they say the guy sucks and then if you beat him, you beat a guy who sucks.

  • Ric was just trying to give Magnum some advice. Where is that red neck Flair wanna be today?

  • in a wheelchair,paralyzed..

  • Retired because of a car accident. Runs a cellphone store now.

  • 2:44 Nobody can do this today. The rock came close but come on.

  • yea by reading scripts

  • 5:32 LOL

  • "Nobody touches my clothes !" LOL

  • wooooooooooooooooooooooooooo

  • 2:44 LMAO, "look at you, sheesh" -slick ric is too much, freaking awsome!

  • 5:35 to 5:41 hilarious

  • I Totally agree with OLECHEVY, thia was when wrestling was fun . Ric Flair was the best

  • The Nature boy was/is my favorite. This was when wrestling was fun to watch not like the BS on tv today(WWE) The old interviews were better than the whole wrestling program of today.

  • So true, so true...the old interviews are a lot better than all of the wrestling programs today. McMahon should market a DVD of nothing but old NWA/WCW interviews featuring Flair, Dusty, and crew

  • Don't fuck with Ric. Magnum was one of many. Ric was one of a kind. The greatest to ever step in a ring.

  • Ric Flair said, "Talk to your mother, not me." LOLOLOL!

He beat Magnum's ass without breaking a sweat and walked away, lol.

  • ROTFL

    Slick Ric schooled Magnum TA.

I am just laughing my head off.

  • "he's using the street shoes"

  • you wonder why there are like 15 people there?

the match had like 3 moves total!! i love it!! the interview was the show -- not the match! classic

  • "honey don't try to wrap me up" love it!!

  • Nobody touches my clothes.

  • good stuff, I miss the old nwa so much

  • dirtiest player in the game

  • that belt looked like a credit card with straps

  • Haha there's like 10 people at the match..

  • half of them are cardboards

  • ReallY?? Naww. It does kinda look like it tho.

  • whoooo!

  • ric flair is awesome!

  • Nobody touches my clothes. Classic line from the MAN. I feel the same way unless a lady touching you

  • "They all wanna be, Woo!, like the Nature Boy!"

He was really feeling himself at that point. God! This was when wrestling was cool. Now-a-days these wrestlers have no character at all. They cant even do interviews half way decent.

  • @lounicks78

They need help from TV writers to do promos

  • One of my alltime favorite Flair moves at 5:15. Even better was when he would jump up and put both feet on someone's head and then slide off it.

As far as the comparison to The Rock goes. I'll give you that. The Rock may be one of the only guys in the past 10 years that could hold a candle to Flair. The Rock could give great interviews, showed tremendous character, and wasn't just a freak on steroids like all the others today.

  • Good point about Flair putting opponents over. HHH always ignored that part of Ric's act. Flair always said his opponent was one of the best in the world...but he was better. Seemed like two titans clashing. Will Ric actually lose the title this time? HHH, if your opponent is so beneath you, why should I pay money to see the match? What is the point? Seems counter-productive to me, but what do I know? I'm just a mark who has never been in the ring.

  • Around 2:50....look at you, Geez. You like Jethro Bodine. No one can talk trash like the Nature boy. No one. I miss this stuff. Thanks for all of these old NWA postings.

  • @lawmancpa That Line was Classic wasn't it?!?!? LOL!!!

  • While Ric was doing commentary I noticed something subtle. When Tony said Magnum was a great champion, Ric actually gave him props. If Tony would've said that to a guy today he would've run his opponent into the ground. It's that little thing, showing the respect between the two wrestlers, that made it so good back then. I wish I could've watched all this as it was happening live.

  • I was a teenager back then and, you're right, it was great. They had a show on Saturday mornings at 8 am. The matches were all stars against prelims, but the mere chance that Flair would show up got me out of bed even with a high school hangover. Today it's just bodybuilders reading scripted comments.

  • Yea back then was to sell for the house shows that,s why they didn,t have stars vs stars on tv often they started feuds on tv so you would go buy a ticket to see your favorite whip the other guys ass and ticket prices were reasonable the most i paid was 25 dollars that was for a starrcade.

  • I watched this when I was about ten or so. This was magic! And you wanna talk about ring psychology Slick Ric is the best , EVER! He could make a mop look good.

  • @theknightrain I remember this too, I was 11 years old. Wrestling was the best back then.

  • ric flair = the original rock

  • the rock = ric flair wannabe

  • Can you imagine the belly-to-belly suplex as a finisher today......LOL

  • Flair added so many little things in, just to see what he could get away with, some of it him and Crockett would laugh about behind the scenes. Like "Nobody touches my clothes" when you hear it from Flair in that circumstance it seems fitting, but honestly it sounds to cheesy over the top. Like when flair would comment about the girls in the audience "No Im not taking my clothes off" "No I wont take you home".

Just pointing something out, not to take anything away from the greatest of all time.

  • I miss the old TBS shows like this -- not the latter-day WCW under Bischoff WCW Saturday Night show, but the Crockett-era NWA-backed WCW Saturday night show in the small studio with maybe 50-100 fans and the interview stand right outside the ring. It allowed for such great confrontations like these. It's a shame that McMahon owns this footage -- seeing that WWE 24/7 logo in the corner just makes me sick!

  • "talk to your mother not me" that was vintage nature boy at his best....it saddens me ill never see another wrestler to equal him.

  • According to Ric, no one touches his clothes.

Does that go for Tony too?

Or is it a privilege to have Ric throw a jacket in your face?

  • What does "nature boy" mean?

  • He's a natural in the ring, on the mic, & character-wise. Everything comes to so easy to him. Flair got the nickname from the original Nature Boy Buddy Rogers. And NBA player Chris Paul has the nickname now.

  • No, it's a reference to sex.

  • I must have clicked the wrong link. Anyway, "nature boy" is a reference to sex.

  • no he doesnt.

  • dont listen to these idiots. originally its an old song. and he adopted it from buddy rogers

  • Crockett sounds more like a fan or wannabe wrestler than a professional commentator.

  • The street shoes on the face lololo classic

  • Since when does gold fade?

  • this is gold

  • Did you see Crockett grinning at all this? I bet it wasn't even like coming to work!

  • classic beat down of Jethro Tull look alike..Magnum TA..by "Slick"....

gators to the mush...and a send off to Crocketts moms at the end...

  • This is better then anything WWE puts on today. If only Magnum had not been injured.

  • this was hilarious, "that's a beautiful suit, I need to thank him for that,".

  • "Talk to your mother, not me!"

  • styling N profilin.....Flair owned that ass.

  • Damn I miss this stuff....

  • Hell yes. This is the best.

  • ric flair

  • Who the hell loses a match to a belly to belly???

  • The belly-to-belly suplex was Magnum TA's finisher.

  • lol this is classic.

  • Magnum would have taken NWA to a new level.

I wonder if Vince chuckled when he head his career was over?

  • Nobody touches my clothes!!! hahahaaha

  • Oh my I remember this. Thanks so much for posting it

  • I never seen the suit before

  • Stylin and profilin

  • Saw it live in '85 but it's great to see it with this king of quality.
