He sounded off-key in the beginning. I think he has a hard time with the high notes. He got kind of croaky and raspy at about 5 minutes in.

ya...he wasnt like this when he was in american idol...
but when he was recording his album, he was on the AI tour at the same time, and his vocal chords started bleeding, and he got bronchitis...
after tht, i think his voice never came back to the way it was in AI...
hes still a great musician though...i hope his voice comes back sometime...
