this dosent look fake...nocuts or reversed vid as far as i can tell. he dosent constantly raise his head to look through the supposed opening in the blindfold. and the whole solve constitutes multiple piece cycles which is the general approach to blindfold solving (im no expert on it however, just familiar with the methods)
WoA!! =0 Thats like wow!! Well done!! Makes me feel quite stupid...I think I'll go and buy one..Then practise loads..Then I could kick your ass in a race?? Lol I don't think that would ever happen! Lol
its not played backwards coz when he takes off his blind folled he does it with 1 hand can u put a put a blind fold on with 1 hand like tht didnt think sso
i thought it could be played backwards as well until i saw the end in which he takes the blinfold off and puts it down, try to take a bed mask like that and put it on your head perfectly so that it went onto the back of his head it actually stuck, kudos my friend
carmanda that part is played forwards.. recording stops just when he finishes and then from the same place it is recorded normally. I did it, it works. And real prodigies fo not bother playing with cubes.
Dude, this guy is Tyson Mao. He is known especially for his prominence in the 3x3x3 blindfold Rubik's Cube World competition. Do a search on Google or Yahoo and you will see. He is also a young Astrophysicist.
it is NOT played backwards, i seen ppl do it blindfolded at competitions and the world record is 1 min. 28 seconds it is perfectly reasonable to get around 2 mins.
LMAO u obviously watched the solving feet thingy..ur a fukin idiot if u apply that to thisl... and he went on cnn to prove it, i think u watched it by now, so u must feel like an idiot
Some people are born with high math and logic oriented intelligence, others with high creative artistic intelligence and so on. It's just a real pleasure seeing it demonstrated, real pleasure. Enjoyed it.
very good thats some clever stuff. but yeh it rather go to the pub instead. that stuffs a bit annoying. if i had a rubiks cube it would take me years to figure out!!!
Amazing... yes. But absolutely useless except for a way to impress a group of similarly inclined rubik's geeks. The fact that people spend such an inordinate amount of time perfecting such a narrow skill is actually more amazing than the feat itself. But then again who knows... someday he might be faced with a life and death situation where he has to align 54 colored squares into collections of 9 while blindfolded.... it could happen.
Well, I was under the impression being NOT mentally retarded helped with getting an education and a good job, but hell, I guess it takes someone like you to show me how the world really works...

Yeah, if you think this guy is fake then you are an idiot or you are just insecure that he is just a ton better and smarter than you. Absolutely amazing. My best time looking at the cube is about 4 minutes. I should learn about the algorithms that everyone else is posting about.
^you r an idiot...i just made this account just so i could tell u that yur wrong!!! this guys name is TYSON MAO he went to Caltech, not Stanford, just b/c u see that he has a Standford shirt doesn't mean he went to Stanford!!!!
You guys dis, but did you know that this guy in the video, Tyson Mao, is the guy who taught WIll Smith how to solve the cube on Pursuit of Happyness, don't believe me? Look it up.
he's not kidding...my uncle is in Pursuit of Happyness (Jay Twistle in the movie, Brian Howe in real life) and he said that Will Smith wanted to actually learn how to do it, and the kid who taught him (this kid) can do it blindfolded/behind his back. amazing, i know.
and im sure about half of you are gonna comment saying that yea right my uncle was in it but he was and if you don't believe me then i guess i can't change your mind.
uh yeah, he also did it on CNN. He was blind folded on CNN and did it. But, you're right. He is fake, I'm assuming you're better eh? And besides, if you wear a blind fold, and have a REALLY small hole or something, it'd be really hard to see the entire perimeter of the cube.
If were to believe he cant see, then why does he tilt his head forward as one would when LOOKING at the cube? Shouldnt he b able to look forward or up?
why would he put his head in a position that he wouldnt normally put his head in if he was doing it not blindfolded? It would be uncomfortable. Don't be so untrusting.
This may not be a world record, but it is certainly nonetheless impressive. A Rubik's Cube can be broken down into algorithms leaving approximately twenty possible patterns. Now, some may feel intellectually diminutive with this display of ostentatious memorization. Simply put, until you post a video of yourself solving a Rubik's Cube in less than three minutes, BACK OFF!
This is not fake. I can do it too, but he is a lot better than me. Blindsolving Rubik's Cube is very easy. Depending on the situation you'll have to memorize app. 18 things in a specific order. This is not too hard.
Fake and gay.. oh I was talking about his watch, it is totaly a Scolex and NOT a Rolex... but yeah, he got cubin' skills.
