  • to be honest the only bit of this routine with any merit is the intro which to be fair is only a Cash Money bite, zeitgeist definitely with him

  • @STEPASAUR dork this was 1991 cash money was not together like they r today if @ all

  • @therealtwiztednation twat I know the year and my history thanks

  • i meant chad jackson

  • someone said a dj scratched with a pool que..it was chad jackso from the uk in the 80s dmcs he also scratched with a football lol

  • sick performance! the kind of creativity that these championships lack nowadays.

  • at 2:17 my favorite move of any dj."the holy shit im fucking dizzy and about to fall and knock down all this shit move". its my favorite moment thats why i comment about every 6 months

  • @palomino13 funniest comment I've seen in a while, hahaha !

  • Wicked moves & tricks but sloppy in alot of parts but I could see why he took out Qbert... doing a bboy move on the turntable?!!! That's gotta be one of the best sights in turntablism history. Sure it's for show but a damn good one though just like Q using the tone arm & also flippin' the needle to sctrach upside down. Mad respect for that battle.

  • @adrierxixa: It is the great Chad Jackson - Hear the drummer get Wicked, nothing else!

  • @Clipmick No, its public enemy, welcome to the terrordome.

  • Ich erinnere mich noch genau an die deutschen Finals 91 in der Königsburg in Krefeld - David war (und ist) der Hammer! God bless the MK2

  • I had the full championship on VHS happy days

  • Deutsche Wertarbeit!!!!

  • very talented! wowzah.

  • @maverickpoint thank you, but i can´t find the track, the track is in youtube?

  • @adrierxixa im not sure on the original. but i know theres a song called 'doop' that samples that line. i have 2 versions of it somewhere.

  • what is the name of the track at 1:15 that say like... "Here come get wicked (wicked)"

  • @adrierxixa i think it is called 'Doop' if i remember correctly, i remember that track using that sample.

  • @adrierxixa PE. the terrordome.

  • @JBLAZE999 Thanks... now i know that he say ... Hear the drummer get wicked !! hehe nice, thanks

  • The Best!!!

  • Legendary as stated under me.

  • Legendary. I'd like to see a new school mixtape "DJ" try to touch this.

  • It's always the great clips that pull you back for the occasional visit, like visiting an old friend from where you used to live.

  • That was insane,I love qbert, but the better set won

  • Wow. he won DMC world champion. For what? First of all. The soda can trick is from from the 80's, n started in the U.S. He uses 1 hand.. Geeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeez us MOE!!!! MMMMMMMM MMMMM MMM!!!! Now l feel sorry for FIGURE SKATERS... Train all year or for 4 yrs. Lose by some BITCH ASS BIAS JUDGES..... That's how the DMC CHAMPIONSHIP ARE LIKE!! NO MATTER HOW GOOD YOU ARE; YOU WILL NOT WIN IF UR OUT OF TERRITORY.. That's why NEW YORK CITY DJ'S STOP ENTERING THE DMC'S. THE DMC IS A FRAUD!!!

  • hahaha at 2: 16 he prolly got dced..fail haha

but the thing is qbert became more famous than him for djing..maybe richer aswell

  • stupid 15...

  • What a wonderful mix

  • Wow most of his beat juggling is fucking sloppy. 4:06 was alright but he shouldn't of won because of the helicopter on the deck. And don't tell me he won because of his technicality, because Q-Bert would of won.

  • @AngusBeef1688

Dave was the reigning world champ from the previous year.

He defended his title ending his set spinning on one hand on top of a turntable

when breakdance was at the fore of youth culture.

Q ended his set fucking around trying to screw his cartridge back onto the deck arm? Q's set was shite. He even had the cheek to use"It takes two"for nearly 90secs of his set which was the main element of Dave's set the previous year.

    I'm no Q hater,he's in my favs,but his 91 set was shite!

  • A real dmc lowpoint. @ 2.16 muthafucker cant even stand up. Horrible, just horrible.

  • @LUKUS909 Hmm he Still got Worldchampion... So can't be that bad.

  • @LUKUS909 I'm sure the dizzy spinning immediately before had nothing to do with it.

  • damn i can beat juggle but not as fast as him this dude is hella good

  • Yeah, that was pretty cool !!

...the first German World Champion !!!

    RESPECT

  • who's that beat?? it s fuckin nice! anyone can tell me the title? bleesss

  • 8 spins on llcool j's bad intro and this dude almost falls all on those decks..he must have been dizzy as hell. qberts set was more precise you could tell there was flavor and in my opinion this dj is doing stuff cause he can.

  • @palomino13 lololol after years of seeing this video...I JUST noticed he almost fell

  • Overrated, he won only because of the fckng turtle on top of the turntable. Qbert had way more originality and techniques.

  • 100% on cocaine ;)

  • he so won it for the helicopter deck spin!

  • wow, I dont think theres anything else I can say that would sum that up. just wow

  • @vm756 jungle brothers - i'll house you song techno? boy you are a young buck. break out some old school books my friend.

  • like a cat on a hot tin roof!

  • What`s the first sound?! PLZ!

  • @VelikieNapasy: think you mean "Alyson Williams - I Need Your Lovin'"

  • The best DJ I've ever seen, incredible skill..

  • @BlueOrderRedMarauder you must have not seen the rest of this competition

  • Damn- first minute of this session still gives me goosebumps after all these years- thanks for the upload!

  • old asssssssss 7up can

  • 5:50 Best!! Technics 4 Life!

  • helicopter on da deck - no wonder he won - in '91

  • man wats da 1st beat

    I GOTTA KNW

  • Alyson Williams I Need Your Lovin' ?

  • hahah cool

  • hilarious and excellent

  • Qbert was a rookie @ 1991. David was a God of technique offsetting. Cheerz

  • what dies 'technique offsetting' mean ? just wondering

  • David Fasher straight from Hamburg Germany. I remember back in doose dayz

  • techno dj in the last 90`s

  • @TheDreiAffen never heard him play techno

  • what ecer happened to him?

  • @kumbo - i think he died from a heartattack from practising that calling all cars routine too many time. pj

  • @CommunitySkratch haha good one!!!!!!

  • no way bro.

  • 2min 15 he fals in front of the tables :D

  • @ReKon1zA LOL

I thought I was the only one that noticed that

  • what's the name of the slow tempo's trax running at the startup of the scrath routine ???

  • allison williams-i need your lovin

  • what is the scratch sample that he is using over "i need your lovin". sounds wicked!!!

  • Super retro video !!!

  • Não tem explicação!!! O cara eh fodaaaaa...

  • Old school!!!

    VERY CREATIVE!!!

  • old school style liveeeeeeeee( n is not death)yehaaaa keep that style 4 live( that was for all the djs!!!

  • damn, that dude is breaking sound barriers

  • awesoe startup routine on slow-tempo traxx, great david!!!

  • most intense handspin on a turntable

  • what a shame qbert waxed that ass! Guess the world was not ready for Q at that time!

  • whatttt the foooookk!!!!!!...

  • name of the last song please :> ? it was played when he spins on technics

  • jungle bros. - ill house you

  • Thank You ! :)

  • rly good! Especially the first part!

A have a question, i saw a videocompilation (VCR) with DJ David and other DMC champs many years ago. The last DJ on this video had a lot of "fuck it" in his set, he also scratched a movie or TVtheme on his Technics (not with the disc). The clip had a green tint and the DJ wore a basballcap. If anybody knows anything about that particular set, i would appreciate any information.

  • Probably one of teh greatest finishes ever. Hard to believe that was so long ago!

  • Even without the handspin, Dj David had a muuuch cleaner routine than Qbert that year. Qbert is a scratch GOD no doubt... but ya can't just un-see how sloppy this set makes Qbert's look by comparison ...discussion ended

  • Incredible swiftness !!

  • i think the only reason david won was because of that fukkin handspin at the end

  • don't you think that alone deserved to win? LOL!

  • wats the track in the begining?

  • alision williams - i need your love

  • absolutely bonkers, mad dope, i luuuv this cats style. peace to the heads.

  • cool

  • Fuuuuuuuuuuuuuucccccccckkkkkkk!!!

God bless you tube,dj david and u XentriX86!

When i saw this video for a first time in 1992 im can believie. Simply the best!!!

    Thank you

  • that was mint!!!!!!!

  • analyzing qbert and david performance...

i think david won because he was more conventional for its time... qberts performance was a futurist thing on early 90´s...

  • 1994 we play 2 gether.... IN HUNGARY DMC' WE win in team with andrew j tommyboy and meeee...:) dan von schulz.. 1ST HUNGARIAN CHAMPION'S THX MR DAVID!!!!!!! THE LEGENDS.....

  • Damn Guy, Dis Guy Is Good!!!

  • God Bless You DJ David

  • his start was something else .. in a club he could have made that last the full track

  • But I also think in 1991 Q-Bert was the absolutly Number 1!! But you see the handspin on the Turntable from David?

A very good promo for technics when those pictures goes out to the world.

That was the reason why David get the title twice.

If he didn`t the handspin stuff...Q-Bert has won

  • qbert's was nothing compared to alladin, cash money 88 89..they had the greatest dmc sets all time..qbert was fast but way too messy

  • To me Fascher is also a legend. He was very fast.

And also I like his musicality...In 1990 he wins for the first time the title as world champion.

When David came up to the stage the crowd was laughing about this with guy.

But after his performance he earned standing ovations!!

So he also should get respect and his place in History.

    .

  • the first part was good in musically, i liked that chilled out scratching

  • lolool

  • He's aawright...Dj Dave had style but Qbert had substance. Dj's can argue what they like but it's all about the sound. Body tricks and speed are cool but if it doesn't sound good then it sucks. Ask a blind person listening to both sets and he can get down and boogie with Q's routine but Dj Dave's sounds like a car crash...

  • true say on the blind shit, never looked at it like that.

  • fucking classic

  • BANGING ASS CUTS!

  • 3:10 and on holy fuck....

  • killer the first track ! peace nice one

  • wtf XD

  • muittoooo lokko

  • Ez fődurva óriás emlékek...

  • Like a man posessed lol thats class.

  • i want to know what kind of drug this guy is on.. i need it now

  • Once you get into it ...It's all the drug you need.trust me.

  • so DOPE!! luv it!

  • i was there,no one know when he gonna spin on turntable.he make all ppl shock.cos is so suprise and entertain.and Qbert in front of me.he turn around..cos he know dj dave must win.he look so sad.but Qbert change the whole world to his style.i like both of them.cos Dave showemanship...Q is Technician...Like Rock&jazz Style..just see which one u like.

  • Ive seen this 1991 video & plenty of djs performed body tricks, but david had the best trick. Dj david copied a lot of ideas from cash money, cutmaster swift & dj reckless. He was rough but overall had the most entertaining set.

  • Q-bert tore that ass up! Who gives a rats ass about the coca-cola cans!

  • word, its funny how dj's tried to do a lot of visual stuff to get over. I remember some cat from dmc scratching with a pool cue lol

  • i want 2 see u scratch lik that.

  • Actually I would not want to scratch like that! LOL

  • right, u cant scratch at all

  • only fags wuld think bout doing that.

  • i find you funny i am not a square. hi gramahh

  • whats the name of the first beat he scratches on. The slow, down tempo hip hop beat he scratches "Eeee-a-eeee-eee" on. I listened to welcome to the terrordome..it sounds nothing like it, am I missing something?

  • Read the text....

Its Alyson williams - I need your lovin.. the soul 2 soul jazzie b remix...

Ive got all the Dmc vids & Im still amazed at how Dj david the underdog managed to win 2 Dmc titles .A dj in the 1991 uk final had already performed the ll cool j i'm bad intro routine. DJ david also copied cash moneys 1987 "get down " bounce scratches & cutmaster swifts doubletracking techniques from 1989. He also used the same ll cool j get down song in his 1990 routine.

  • @tygaelement WHAT TEXT!? It just says peace, dick

  • hes a beast

  • fuckin mad. still the best

  • cant believe how fast he is. 1 of da best

  • wow

  • unglaublich...

  • damn..that was nice. nice ending too.

  • he still dj's, but only in germany as far as ive heard, b great to see sum videos :D

  • Absolutely stunning. It´s a shame David Fascher was never much recognized for his awesome skills.

Every time I watch this I can´t believe how fast he is.

    Wonder what he does today??

  • whats the name of the first beat?

  • Alyson Williams - I need your lovin'

  • I saw this about 10 years ago, and was blown away, awsome.

Gotta love the "hand plant" and the end.

  • This is real turntablism/D.I.T.C.

Fuck all that fake custom ass shit like what netic, kentaro, rafik, etc, etc use. Lets get back to the real DMC, dont have to Hip Hop beats jus real vinyl ya know D.I.T.C.

Dj Dexter has proved that enuff times in DMC Battles.

But this fake shit as got to stop, invent another DMC category for them.

I dont even think I have ever heard them play a Hip Hop beat or even a known track during a DMC battle. Thats piss poor.

    y'all know this is true!!!

  • so i guess keeping it real is stacking turntables on soda cans and spinning yourself on the turntables. yup...keeping it real, huh?

  • My point was about Diggin' In The Crates.

  • The song at 5:26 is "Get Down".

The dopest part was 4:11 - 4:15... The rest was pure crowd fluff...dope and new at the time.

  • 4:28 : LOL

  • ohhh shit

    that was tight

  • I remember this video. Not bad, he has some level of control over the timing and body movements.

  • I remember him winning DMC that year.

Amazing dexterity and speed, but almost devoid of rhythm. Looks impressive for the time anyway.

  • oh hell naw, this fool killed it at with that public enemy cutting.

  • lol "hell naw".

  • whats the ll cool j song at 5:26

  • BEST THERE WAS, IS AND EVER WILL BE! Never seen anything like it!

  • best ever freestyle mixing showboating dj, never to be repeated, genius.great set too. johnny shox

  • Classick!

i remenber when i start scratching i use to watch this vhs video , anyway still so enrtaining. Anyway do you know what happen to him and what is he doing now? just curious...

    Peace

  • he is one of the best, a real king!

  • your right..he won USA in 1st place...David won the World ..says so in the title...lol...duh.

  • ....this is why you are gonna buy technics ! (good commercial for technics btw)

  • Incorrect, Qbert never has won the DMC's only as part of invisible scratch pickles which is the group entry. DJ craze is the only ever DJ to win it three years successive and be bared from entering. 98, 99, 2000.

  • pretty sure he won in 91 solo...the rest were a part of ISP.

  • wot do u mean by "be bared from entering"??

  • He is good! But if memory serves me correctly, DJ QBert was the first who won three in a row and was banned from competition.

  • excelent man, i just saw this....

i was stupefied when i saw this :D

  • No stickers on the record!!!

    Amazing! :)

  • think you find there are stickers on the records!!!!!!!!

  • yes but no stickers on the groove that´s what i mean

  • the ll cool j cut up was stunning at the time

  • Hey Coop, E E-E-Eee!!!!

  • absolutely mind blowing considering it was only 91.

  • it was at the time. fucking amazing.

  • OH .. MY .. LORD !

  • wow wonderfulll

  • Yeah I gotta agree with akadru. If I was all about sound I would go with Qbert, but DJ Dave is way more entertaining to watch. After showing this video to my fellow dj buds, we all agree that if you say Dave sux, your not a DJ!
