This sounds so fucking incredible with Bruce's vocals. It's like a whole new song, he owns it. I feel the same with Sign of the Cross. I dig some Blaze era songs, but they lack that Maiden feeling that the simple addition of Bruce's vocals can bring back. Bruce Dickinson is truly irreplaceable.

The X Factor is an "ok" album in my opinion (but Virtual XI is a piece of shit), and Blaze is a good singer. Sign of the Cross, Lord of the Flies and Man on the Edge are great songs with his voice. All 3 singers who have ever recorded an album with Iron Maiden have written their history in the band... but Bruce Dickinson is the only one who can sing all the songs from all eras PERFECTLY. This is why Iron Maiden is stronger with him.

Blaze did his own thing on The X-Factor, and it was pretty decent. But hearing Bruce sing it just ads a whole new dimension of awesome to the song. This sounds so fucking incredible with Bruce's vocals. It's like a whole new song, he owns it. I feel the same with Sign of the Cross. I dig some Blaze era songs, but they lack that Maiden feeling that the simple addition of Bruce's vocals can bring back. Bruce Dickinson is truly irreplaceable.

@ironjibz This is from the ED HUNTER TOUR, when Bruce and Adrian back, in 99.... the show it´s one of the two shows in MILANO... you can find this song on ED HUNTER cd or in the singles of the Brave Bew World, like Wasted Years, Killers, Futureal and others... UP THE IRONS

The X Factor is an "ok" album in my opinion (but Virtual XI is a piece of shit), and Blaze is a good singer. Sign of the Cross, Lord of the Flies and Man on the Edge are great songs with his voice. All 3 singers who have ever recorded an album with Iron Maiden have written their history in the band... but Bruce Dickinson is the only one who can sing all the songs from all eras PERFECTLY. This is why Iron Maiden is stronger with him.

Não adianta, além de ajustarem o tom das musicas a voz de Bruce, coisa que não aconteceu com o Blaze, bruce não consegue o mesmo efeito, as musicas gravadas por Blaze perdem a força na voz de Bruce.

Futureal, Man on The Edge, Sign of the Cross, The Clansman. HE KICK YOUR ASS. Bruce consegue subir 3'sas e até 8'vas do que Blaze cantava. Como fã de Iron, tb curti a fase Blaze. It almost hurts to see all these comments from pieces of shit who do not know anything about music or simply think of themselves as "Irons" just because they have a greatest-hits album. I can't believe all the cristicism against a great musician such as Blaze; he was part of Maiden because Bruce left the band; he was never an intruder rather a great singer who did a great job for the band. Bruce Dickinson is one of the greatest vocalists to ever grace your ears, any comparison is unnecessary, he is 52 and he sings better than ever, none of the other singers in Maiden (or in any other band, except the late Dio) are that good. Although Paul Fuckin' DiAnno comes pretty close on 'Killers', doesn't he?

Blaze did his own thing on The X-Factor, and it was pretty decent. But hearing Bruce sing it just ads a whole new dimension of awesome to the song. Whoever edited the video did a helluva job. . .I actually thought it was an official music video! Would have been better intercut with footage from Falling Down, but still great!

I've been a Maiden fans for more than 25 years, they're my favourite Metal Band, Dickinson is one of my favourite vovalists, and probably the best from a technical point of view, but according to me, he just doesn't have as much emotion as Blaze...It's my truth, nothing but my truth...Up the Irons...and up the Blazes !

But he gave us two really good albums. I don't think blaze sucks, he ownd Dickinson on Afraid To Shoot Strangers. And on his own songs, although he was sometimes a bit out of tune... But don't say, Bruce never missed a note... Bruce = better, Blaze = Damn Good!
