Please tell me, is your current Raw Vegan lifestyle more costly financially than when you were eating fast food and processed foods? Was there a big jump inthe cost? I am a disabled Veteran on a small budget but with type2 Diabetes I need to go vegan but only if I can afford it
This is an AWESOME VIDEO! I totally love the way you explain the "memory of food" This is the first vieo I have seen of your set, but I think more folks who are struggling with food issues might really appreciate them. Thanks!
What exactly do you need to detox? If you seriously need to detox you should head to a hospital or you will likely be in one already. Like all other raw food vegans I see on youtube, you clearly have no understanding of biology or biochemistry. Needless to say you will simply dismiss this and wallow in your ignorance. You don't need to detox nor do you need to go raw vegan in order to be healthy. It just requires being wise about food decisions.
Yeah...he's so ignorant that he lost 215 pounds and kept it off *eye roll*. You're free to eat whatever you want but just because someone is doing something different doesn't mean they're ignorant. He obviously knows enough to change his life. Keep eating your meat and your cooked food that are slowly killing you. Peace
Really enjoyed your video. I am growing some sprouts now and planting seeds for a garden. I am trying to incorporate more raw foods into my diet. You are a good inspiration.
You look great I have to shop is there anything such as foods or books you can recommend I am so new .. I want to make this permanent in my life.. and I am excited to start taking care of myself.
You are a really kind hearted person and I really appreciate your humble and caring attitude while sharing very helpful info . I don't know if I'm ready to go raw but i'll give it serious consideration since I've managed to gain weight in the past year and a half , as a vegetarian .
Thank you for this awesome video, Phillip. I'm on day 4 of my detox going from a diet similar to yours before starting raw foods and am feeling pretty darn emotional. Thanks for your support.
I became a vegan but sometimes dairy food challenges me..
I had typical american diet for my entire life, so my body is reacting to vegan diet..
To detox my whole body, I plan to do a juice feast soon.. could you more specifically talk about a good way to recover from juice feast or detoxification in general?
I just eat raw food only, which is raw milk, raw eggs and raw fruits and vegetables. This covers all the bodies needs. Mix 1 raw egg, juice of a lime and 1 tsp of flax seed oil and mix and drink. It tastes good and will make your hair and skin shine. I switched from 100% greasy processed diet to 100% raw diet in 1 day. It was like a switch turned on . I had a hard time the first day and then after that it went pretty good. On my goal to loose 90Lbs. Should have done this years ago.
You are really the best! I am trying to do a 100 day raw food challenge but I have this problem with my blood sugar. I would like to ask you if you eat organic honey once in a while. Thanks! U r brilliant!!

@cellulitelove where do you live where they sell 10 bananas for a buck?! the best here is 5 for a buck. I saw something on the news where the local farmers give to pantries because of excess veggies...the organization was call "ample harvest". It is free. I can't afford to buy this stuff on a regular basis, so this helps out a lot.
After hearing you talk about eating huge portions, I feel less guilty for eating such huge salads. I now know that my desire for big portions will naturally decrease. I'm so excited about detoxing.

Eating raw means eating raw foods that are commonly already consumed raw - seeds, nuts, vegetables, fruits, sprouts, juices and certain raw cheeses and unpasteurized milk products (usually from goats). Raw foodists are not advocating eating raw meats or consuming large quantities of unpasteurized milk products (many raw foodists are vegan, anyway, so the milk issue is moot). You stated you've never eaten raw foods which seems hard to imagine. Have you never eaten apple slices or carrots?
O lord! How do I replace squishy bread that doesn't fall apart when smooshed into olive oil, and potatos with soy yogurt and still the big question: pasta with spicy tomato sauce (zucchini is too watery, spaghetti squash is like wood)...o lord!
maybe marinate your veggies in lemon juice and herbs to soften them some and adds tons of flavor too. watery suchinni, just let it drain in a strainer, save the juice and use in salad dressings or just drink it - good stuff!
For me, someone with bad case of eczema, detox was really, really hard. Days and weeks? Try many months. Strange symptoms/signs that scared me until I found out about detox reactions. Drank litres of distilled water, slept a lot to try and manage the detox. Still, totally worth it. Hang in there!
