Ok, so this show has convinced me that not all polygamists are completely nuts, but I think this show has also shown that polygamy really has few benefits to a normal marriage. You can use a lot of arguments about why polygamy is wrong, but I would probably leave the Bible out of it. Have you ever really read the Bible? Do you know how many of the biblical prophets practiced polygamy? These are prophets that Jesus Christ declared to be good men. Many times in the bible God specifically commands men to take more than one wife.
I consider these people Christian. They are doing their best to follow what they think God wants them to do. They seem to be quite loving.
I really like this show, but I disagree with polygamy. Marriage is supposed to be a union between one woman and one man not multiple people. Thats the way God made it to be! You can use a lot of arguments about why polygamy is wrong, but I would probably leave the Bible out of it. Have you ever really read the Bible? Do you know how many of the biblical prophets practiced polygamy? These are prophets that Jesus Christ declared to be good men. Many times in the bible God specifically commands men to take more than one wife.
I consider these people Christian. They are doing their best to follow what they think God wants them to do. They seem to be quite loving.
