angelstad was one of the most feared men in the chl and the ahl for a long time, he fought wenever wherever, hes not a big lad either, but wen u watch him go, u see he just wont turtle or turn away. it defies logic why the nhl didnt embrace him??? washington played him for a few and so did dallas but i think thats it??
i'd imagine newcastle offered him a better deal, with a bit more room to fight. Also the fact we had payette on our team meant mel could play a little more hockey
(he then played 13 games, hit an 8 game suspension for sticking Hutchins in the face and left to go to America)
GREAT DRAW, this is one of the best fights i have ever seen.
Still its tough to watch fights like this sometimes, when they punched so hard at each others and it surely hurts guys heads.

anglestad left because tony hand didnt want to play tought hockey and was told he could go
