@JustinBieberDavao X never died after the Mav wars the mother elf was made and when weil made her dark he used his own body to seal her his "soul" seperated and lived in cyberspace and then when elpizo destroyed his real body to free the elf X's cyber elf form was running on borrowed time and in MZ3 is when he finally ran out of energy to stay in the real world THATS when X truly died

there was a timeline between megaman X and megaman Zero, when he fought the mavericks, i assume he discovered the Mother Elf and died by mavericks, Zero was sealed, Sigma died, and Axl is currently unknown.

hm interesting but i believe the mother elf was also known as nightmare mother in x6 but idk it's funny cause the story between the original and X is shrouded in mystery and same with X to zero series

@Dan88s And of course his cyber elf form could not last very long, so he used up the last of his energy and will in Zero 3 by guiding Zero, as Dr. Light did for him in his missions. And once Omega Zero was defeated, he knew Zero's mission had been completed, and left the world that day in peace.

@Dan88s - What? He never says he died by them. He only said that it was painful to realize that he no longer cared about fighting them. His last deed was to seal the Dark Elf (Mother Elf). He is still alive during that, it's not until Z2 when Elpizo destroys X's physical body that X actually dies. His spirit (cyber elf) however lives on to at least Z4 if I'm not mistaking.

@shadowzero90 his SOUL is the sage, the body of x sealed the mother elf, but his soul is free. the true body of x (or at least that's what i think) was destroyed in Megaman Zero 2.
