Beware if you live in San Diego, CA, since the maps are atrocious, containing roads that don't exist and wrong names for ones that do. The company promises to correct any mistakes they're made aware of but they have had several updates without addressing the issues I've sent in, and still direct me to drive off a cliff and into a canyon whenever leaving my block. I don't know where they got their info, but they need a complete San Diego revamp as it would be a full time job sending them in.

i have a iphone with copilot on it and i use it all the time, in 2 weeks im buying a ipad 3g. will i have to pay again or will the app just install and work with my ipad?

@theunits3 Actually, using the iPad works great, depending on how it's mounted of course. It's a lot easier and safer looking at the big screen than squinting to see a little one.

@slunkeh a ha! nop. you'd see me going over a few people if that were the case lol. I had the camera fixed on the passenger seat with the ipad lying down. The camera on the right (drivers view) was my iphone 3gs in one of them 'in your face' stands. SUCCESS :D

great way to make you crash, lol, thats kind of over kill with the giant ipad, I like having a small GPS because it isnt going to take up a TON of space, but still looks like a great app
