i heard a funny story the other day about a guy filling flower pots with thermite and putting them on top of these scameras. the idea being that the thermite heats up in the clay flower pot and turns into molten iron as it burns it's way to the bottom of the pot. once it finds the hole in the bottom that liquid iron pours out in a stream and will cut through metal like nothing. makes short work of scamera shrouds and the insides of the scamera gets incinerated.

now why would someone do that?

as long as there is no permanent damage to public property it's just 100% fun. heck I'd hate to get it on the lens of my camera or any camera because it pretty much would distort all images. but heck, that sounds like 100% fun. I guess one person could chase another down the street trying to spray the other with this fun stuff. no violations there.
