  • what about trapped at the drive thru parody of trapped in the closet

  • This is so funny, I love him he I so funny.

  • What video is this from, so I can buy it?

  • What about free bird.. Oh Lordy

  • What about American Pie? About... 8 minutes long.

  • @TheNumnutRandomness

♪ A long long time ago, I can still remember how the music used to make me smile, and the 3 men I admire most took the train from the coast, and the music wouldn't play for awhiiiille. Bye, Bye, Miss American Pie, this was the day that they died!♪

  • @devmanification Ha ha, maybe you should publish your own CD. :D

  • @TheNumnutRandomness I'd have a little more trouble with "Trapped In The Closet."

  • And some other poetic.......stuff.

  • i just found "the wreck of the edmund fitzgerald" on my dad's itunes. i almost died♥

  • the people all died...BUMMER :)

  • ADOS - Attention Deficit ... Ooo! Shiny!

  • But anyway Tim is so hilarious he did all of those songs so great

  • Ok everybody Tim was not making fun of the wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald he was trying to make it funny and let people have a good time and laugh so he was not serious about it and I don't think all of you people that don't even know him can judge him by that

  • The Eagles "Hotel California" in one verse

I went to a hotel that was haunted, now I cant leave, o whoa is me.

  • Bummer :)

  • i love "wreck of the edmund fitzgerald" lol..but that's totally funny

  • He did Gordon Lightfoot's voice quite well, actually :P

  • what about the trapped in the closet song ?

  • @megameg910 Hahaha I forgot about that one!!! LOL! xD

  • @megameg910 Oh boy, how would that sound? That thing was way too long.

  • @Renegade4860 Tim Hawkins is a real comic and has already made it, go look and that he has multiple videos with over a million views and a tour, plus everyone he was just making fun of the length of the song not Gordon or the wreck

  • And the people all died ..... bummer. Lol!!!!

  • i have that same problem, but with me its movies

  • and the people all died.....bummer.

  • dude i heard the wreck of the edmond fitgerald song at work and laughed out loud and said BUMMER! lol all the costumers were like....what?

  • And, by the way...... I didn't realize that the gambler died at the end! I'll have to go back and give that song another listen too, LOL! :)

  • What's the real song with the "cats in the cradle and the silver spoon" or something like that?

  • @Cabkrub Cats in the Cradle. I don't know who sings it though.

  • @TheSparklybubble That would be the Great Harry Chapin!

  • I LOVED the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald! This guy is hysterical. Maybe he should do "Alice's Restaurant" in one verse. That's WAAAY longer than the Wreck!

  • clearly he hasn't heard blinded by the light.

  • "and the people all died........bummer" LOL XD

  • what was the second song?

  • @BountyHuntFH95 Cat's in the Cradle by Harry Chapin

  • I did stand up comedy for 4 years and one thing i learned is that you will offend someone. Someone is going to get pissed at one of your jokes, you cant please everyone.

All these people who are getting mad at the Edmund Fitagerald need to see this point and take it into consideration. It's all in fun, dont like dont watch it!

  • Hey! Tim!...I live in Gorden's Back yard.....Don't diss the Gord The Great Canadian!.....P.S. Nice work!

  • what is the second song he sang?

  • @aokral25

The song was Cat's In The Cradle by Harry Chapin

  • The story lives on, how the bull she went down and the people all died.......................................Bummer! This is so funny, I like tim hawkins way better than non christian because I, being a christian, don't like hearing curse words in comedy.

  • @nick31898 It's "boat", not "bull". :)

  • @Chevyfreak63

The wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald was a true song but it's not like there aren't jokes about 911 . Many more people died there than on the Edmund Fitzgerald. I'm not being rude to anyone who lost a loved one, but unless you did than you have no right to tell a comedian what he should do. Lay off man, it's not like he's making fun of the family of the lost crew. He summarized it not made fun of it. This might come as a 'bummer' to you. But nobody really cares what you think. Some

  • please what was the second song he sang?

  • @miticomarci The Cat's In The Cradle by Harry Chapin

  • This was funny up until he poked fun at "The Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald". This was a real life tragedy that took the lives of 29 men, the majority of them who were from northeast Ohio, and I am very disappointed that Tim lowered himself to that level. Long song or not, it needs to be thrown out of his act immediately if not sooner. Very insensitive to those who experienced the loss of a loved one in that wreck.

  • @ChevyFreak63 yeah but it's not like he made fun of the people who died he was making fun of the song.

  • The story lives on, how the boat, she went down, and the people all died... Bummer!!

    LOL!!

  • "He grew up to be a jerk, just like me!"

    "BUMMER!"

"and I won all his money"

  • Sorry Tim, Theocracy now has the longest song ever written... twenty-three minutes...

  • @SenshiofWolves why be so matter of factly about it? he's no scholar, he's a comedian. taking his words seriously is a bit over the top, since he isn't serious.....ever.

  • @romans1164e ... I was joking...

*sigh* joking on the internet is SOOOO hard *sobs*

  • @SenshiofWolves sorry :-P its hard to convey emotion in text without a ton of explanation. I rescind my previous statement. Thank you for promptly explaining nicely.

  • He is so funny luv him :)

  • He went to far with the song "Edmund Fitzgerald ".....like to see him or anyone here who thinks its funny go to Whitefish Bay on Nov. 10th and sing his short verse, you will see just how funny it is..below isthe butt of this horrible joke...making fun of things that are fiction can be funny, the family of those below I doubt would laugh at this one, shame Tim couldnt make it as a real comic or singer...he himself is the real joke here

  • @Renegade4860 - Have you ever made any kind of serious verbal mistake in your life? (If you are human, I'm thinkin you have) Would you want it recorded on youtube for the world to judge? I imagine Tim just really didn't think that one through. He's done great service to thousands of people, injecting clever levity into many topics. Why not make the effort to contact Tim and respectfully educate him on the matter. Hopefully, him would respond appropriately and remove this material going forward.

  • @Renegade4860 ok first i agree. i never knew that song was nonfiction, so i laughed. second, you are in no position to judge. third, what if tim doesn't know that the song was nonfiction either? then you have judged him simply because he did not know and made a joke without prior knowledge. if he did have knowledge of such, then i must say he is taking their deaths lightly, but i can't make that assumption because i do not know the man. ill ask him when he comes to my church.

  • "And the people all died...bummer."

My friend and I joke abotu that in class all the time!

  • It's funnier if you look up the Edmund Fitzgerald before listening to his version.

  • Edmund Fitzgerald??? You don't know that song? It is a true story moron.

  • what was the song in the middle plz respond

  • @bakuganmasterdude Really? It's been answered already. Give you a hint, currently page 4 of the comments. Took me literally about 10 seconds.

  • @SomeWeirdFreak thanks

  • @bakuganmasterdude Future reference, videos that contain a song usually (but not always) have already have had at least one person ask and answer what the song is in the comments. Usually quicker to just click 'all comments' and browse through.

  • I'm not he is right about that being the longest song. What about Alice's Restraunt?

  • Who else youtubed the songs mentioned in this vid afterwards?

  • who else googled "wreck of the edmund fitzgerald" after this?

  • @xXWhySoSeriousClanXx: It's always a reality check to see a comment like yours; it reminds me that not everyone is from Michigan, where we sing "Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald" in elementary school. :D

  • @xXWhySoSeriousClanXx Yep... Sure did! If anything, I think Time is giving him lots of exposure. :D So, for those of you getting upset, consider how many more people have now heard the song and have a new appreciation for it. Peace Y'all! :D

  • @xXWhySoSeriousClanXx I did the song was 6:40

  • @xXWhySoSeriousClanXx

our history teacher made us listen to that song

  • @xXWhySoSeriousClanXx I already owned the song for, like, years. I hung around my mom too much as a child. lol

  • @teetownvideos u don't have to live in michgan to no daa

  • this is HILALIOUS

  • The story lives on how the boat she went down and the people all did.......... BUMMER

On a warm summers evening i met a man who played cards well but he died at the table and i won all of his money not funny but true......LOL LOL LOL

  • But he died at the table and I won all of his moneeey. Laughs, lots of laughs from me and my family!

  • YAY for A.D.D.

  • you need to live in michigan to understand the full meaning of the wreck of the edmund fitzgerald. don't defile the classics

  • @cjazzman1 i live in michigan, but this i still think its hilarious

  • @cjazzman1 There is nothing saying you need to live in Michigan to get the full meaning of the Wreck of the Edmund Fitzgerald.

  • @cjazzman1 why is it that people come onto comedy videos and bash them for remixing the classics for entertainment value? aren't the classics still the classics, even though he made these funny verses to "sum up" the songs? yes, we all know the summaries weren't great, but they were funny. if you wish to listen to the real songs, and not listen to comedy remakes, please look them up, and don't come back. these videos are for people who can take jokes and laugh.

  • @romans1164e lets make a joke out of the victums of 9/11.....you probably laugh at that also

  • @Renegade4860 so quick to judge. There was nothing in his jokes here that made fun of the pain caused by a national disaster.

  • @Renegade4860 i have to rescind my last comment and duly apologize. i did not know that the song he made fun of was nonfiction. i was never told of this disaster, and never knew to look it up. as a fellow christian, when he comes to my church in october, i must ask him why he joked about their deaths so lightly. thank you for bringing it up, and i hope in the future when you have a valid point you wouldn't spoil it by judging or assuming. have a good day.

  • i know a longer song , the land of point- 30.07 mins

  • its funny how he actually sounds like gordon lightfoot. :\
