He doesn't get tear stains. It seems there's one in every litter that doesn't get the tear stains.

@LittleMissAlleyCat - When we first got out Peke, who was a "rescue" dog, he did have tear stains. Once his diet improved at our house, he never had them again. He eats mainly a venison and sweet potato dry dog food with the occassional sardine through the week.
