@mattandbat put your speed to max, and boost in the beginning. stay close to the corners when turning and try to keep a good racing line. Just try not to be too hesitant and go using all your boost to keep up with him. The rocks fall all the same way in each difficulty, so try to remember that. Goroh can sometimes crash into a rock near the finish so there's that.
