The SVD is a short term of the whole series.

There is the full auto machine gun version of it as well.

no... the full auto machine gun version is the RPK, and it's not a version of the SVD. but origininally all of these are made from the AK-47's basic mechanism

Batteries do not affect the power, only the firerate.

I am a moderator of an airsoft-forum, so know what i am talking about.

The only things affecting power are the spring, nozzle, cylinder, piston and inner barrel (and indirectly Hop-up/BAX, for it converts power into rotation).

If your JG A47-03 (btw, its NOT an SVD, a Dragunov looks different, its rather a ROMAK with SVD wood-parts) has 380 fps (thats slightly over official stock power of about 330-350 fps), you have just been lucky.

Heh, you monkeys keep telling him he's wrong calling it an AK-47 SVD. Also, the dragunov is also known as the SVD. But what you don't know is that this gun is built on an airsoft AK-47 receiver, but with a different stock and fore-end, and the longer barrel, of course. There isn't a cheap chinese SVD clone with a proper SVD-proportioned receiver yet. Also, anyone who says they own a real Dragunov and spells it "duranov" is a liar. You don't spend $1500+ on a rifle and not know what it's called.

You show me where you can get SVD's for 1500, i'll buy 10. A Tiger Carbine can go for about 1500 or so and it resembles a modern composite SVD. A real SVD typically goes for over 5k (banged up), 8-10k used and decent condition with price increasing daily.
