  • I have had mine for three heating seasons and am into my fourth. I have replaced both motors and have replaced both thermal switches so far. And they aren't cheap either. Way too much too go wrong with it and not worth the aggravation. If you have one and intend to keep it make sure you have a spare backup of everything. I am going back to a wood stove that I know if I light it it will work.

  • Thanks for the honest info.on your stove. I own a small house so I'm looking to put one in the basement. A friends brother has one in his basement. He keeps it around 75 degrees down there. He claims it keeps the house around 68-69 which leaves the furnace from turning on all the time. Keep us posted with more great video and info. as time goes on. Thanks again!

  • Great video of your big E stove.I'm looking into purchasing this stove, I have read good and bad reviews about the big E. Does it heat your house like you hoped it would? Now that you have had it a while are you satisfied with the stove? Thanks

  • @seadoo780 Yes it does heat my house, but Im going through more pellets then what I thought I would. I guess thats what I get for living in a hundred year old drafty farm house lol. I am satisfied with it, but the one and only thing I dont like about it is, you have to adjust the air flow for every different heat level. Other then that I am happy.
