FYI, this tune "Sunset" is played in Canada (and perhaps elsewhere) in the eveneing when the flag is being lowered. At any Canadian Armed Forces base, when you are n earshot of this tune, or in eyeshot of the flag being lowered, you face the flag and salute if weaing appropriate head dress.
Played on H.M Ships at sunset.Played in all branches of the services in all commonwealth countries.Try this one "Royal Tournament Finale - Royal Marines Bands"
A British call, it was a call used to indicate that the gates of various fort/camps were to be closed an you had better get back quick! Initiated primarily for British colonial units.
@rootbeerinacan this is the same with the royal navy. the Bosuns whistle is sounded and order "all hands on deck face the main mast and salute" then sunset is played.
I don't claim to be educated in these matters all that much, but is this not a pm call, not an am one. The am call is Revielle, or am I missing something?
this is even played in Singapore's army....

Apparently you can't film a Sandhurst bugle call without first smearing copious amounts of valve oil on the camera lense.
