Thunder Agents read 1960's-1970's version but DC generally chances characters they aquire from other publishers so am not expecting much. They originally were Dynamo who had a belt of strength, lightning with a costume that gave super speed, Noman a guy who had multiple android bodies he could switch his mind between and a cloak of invisiblity, was stronger than a regular human but not as strong as dynamo. Menthor had a helmet to read and control minds, Raven suit to fly.
this is great. If Alex and Pete like a book for its clever writing I will probably like it too. If Alex likes it for its clever writing and Pete vehemently cries anathema, then I will really like it.
Hey Alex cut Pete off at least three times!! I like Alex's points but we all really want to know what Pete thinks. He's the anchor of all these reviews.
I haven't watched anything on this channel in months, I suppose its sort of reassuring that Pete is still phenomenally stupid. I guess if Thunder Agents had Wolverine in it slicing people up with his claws it would be FAR better....
I very much disliked Thunder Agents. My biggest problem, aside from the fact that the first issue was bad, is that this is the D.C. Universe. If you're a morally ambiguous organization who wants to to espionage-type stuff with super-humans, why not just use super-humans? They're out there. I was so glad to see Ant-Man be a main character in a comic again. I loved his series from a few years ago and have been hoping for him to get another shot.
I LOVED Thunder Agents. It is a terrifically written, very original first issue that had me going through loops every few pages. Pete... Maybe the next issue will have mroe guns?
great review guys. Although it seems the crew is one man short. Is...Justine away ...on a boat? or did he sign up for superpowers a year ago? LoL. Much luv from the UK. S'all good.
Great show. I like the idea of T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents, especially if they let it go to dark places.
I really gotta second the motion that you folks either highlight a particular comic/title to pick-up, or get much tougher with your reviews. You folks have given me some great recommendations (especially your Guardians of Galaxy rec way back), but I can't afford to get everything.
I've been watching you guys for a several years. I'm curious what your full time gigs are, and how you came to be the coolest comic review trio on the planet.
I went to New York in 2002 ...awesome!I But I myself come from Holland so i wont be able to see you anytime soon.
Witch makes me ask this question... :)
Are you (ever) planning on taking a "Europe Tour" or something like that, and then especially Holland? Its great here :P
I even have an old Spider-man agenda with an original story in it starring Spider-man in Amsterdam (approved by Marvel) What other country besides America, Canada and Germany can say they had a visit from Spider-man :P
I loved Ant-man/Wasp and though it was the best reviewed comic of the three. It was just really fun. Have you all ever thought about doing something where you would say which comic was the best of the three you reviewed? That way people who could only afford to buy one or two books could have your pick of which one you all thought was the best. FYI, I usually don't have that problem cause I am a major nerd and spend my money on comics and not much else.
T.H.U.N.D.E.R. Agents sounds a lot like Marvel's old Strikeforce Morituri series from back in the day. The concept is great and there are a million avenues to pursue on it, so I'm stoked to see what Spencer does with it.

Hey @RyanStegman, the CBC liked your art! Your kinetic style made Pete care about the girls on the boat! (And me too, honestly!)
