  • Long live eritriea.may your name and hard won indepedence last for eternity.somalia will rise again as a strong country and eritrea, djobouti and somalia will dominate the horn.death to ethiopia and freedom to all oppressed people of ogadenia, oromia and gamballe.

  • it is soo cool that we have a beach =)

  • how different is eritrian culture from ethiopian culture? i always considered us on in the same. except for the language difference (even though within ethiopian there are different languages). religion? traditions?

  • @blaint09

You live in America. Therefore, AMERICA being multi-ethnic nation, you most likely know about Afro-American Culture, Mexican-American culture, European Culture which includes, Irish-American Culture, Italo-American Culture,,,,etc.

Just like TRADE, cultures being transitional across all borders & neighbors, you could possibly find the same Cultures in Canada, Mexico, Cuba,,,etc.

Therefore, the same applies in Eritrean case.

  • @blaint09 You are so right. People keep confusing politics with people. You can be the same people but differ in views of politics- perfect example is North and South Korea - same people, different politics. So likewise with habesha people -ethiopians and eritreans.

  • Damn Squeky11 I just made a video clip with the same title as yours I swear I did not know about yours...in anycase excellent video bro will definately go to my favs!!!~Hailab~!!!XXX

  • Thank you Squeky11 you are beutifull & Eritrea is beutifull

  • Here are some facts about Eritrean people! Nine ethnic groups: Tigre, Belin, Beja,Tigrinya, Kunama, Barya, Rashyda, Afar, Sahoo!

    Tigre, Rashyda, & Tigrinya= SEMETICS

    Beja, Belin, Sahoo, Afar= KUSHITICS

    Kunama & Barya= HAMITICS

  • @AAwate

    = DIQALA BASTARDS

  • @AethiopidKING Ahiya i can feel a lot of Jalousy. Eritrea 4 Eritreans

  • all these war mentality sicken me. when you die you're not going to hold on to any culture, or belief or whatever. so why be so passionate to ruin another Spirit life or take another spirit life? is that the Energy you wish to bring into this world? common on, it's time 4 PEACE! 1LOVE

  • I love Eritreans because they are our brothers and sisters. We helped them fight and stand up for their rights against ugly Ethiopia. Now they are helping us get our freedom from Ethiopia and I am Ogadeni from Ogaden. I am saddened by the sanction against it. It is time u start piracy and refuse ships to pass by ur side of the sea coz that is the only way to get ur sanction lifted.

  • i want to lear amharico language ,if i dont know amharic in 6 month i will put a bomb in the ethiopian embassy in washington i want to learn amharic amharicccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccccc

  • Bardera 21 Eritrea is a land of free people and they do what ever they want. And if you want to be our enemy welcome and your ass will be kicked insha alah.

  • Instead of trying to clean the mess that is already in you country here you are threatening an independent nation with your stupid bravado. The audacity of the ignorant Somalis(I don't mean all just the ignorant ones) is beyond measure.

  • lool you talk about the mess that my country is as if you habesh are any better of than us lol Habeshi are a bunch of un civilized animals. Infact worse than animals. These barbaric animals should keep eating their raw meat filth. And should know better that they not insult their Somali idols.

  • @EritreaTheBest Don't mind about Bardera21 he is not from Ogaden and he is not a good Somali either he is low cast type of Somali that is looked up on even the Somali dialect they speak is not understandable to any except their low life's. So don't mind him he is a danderhead.

  • bardera21 90% of eritrean are cushtic...but half of them has a semitic tongue..just like you a cushtic person with an anglo tongue.

  • @bardera21 Somali ppl are our brothers but and Eritrean ppl lived in peace and harmony for centuries wihtout external interfrence. "ERITREA = SEMETIC+CUSHITIC+NILOTIC+MULSIM+CHRISTIAN+ANIMIST", our diffrence made our strench, and we dont need advise from a somali who cant even unite and creat a peaceful country. Please work hard to creat for one and strong Somalia and we both could face Ethiopian/USA arrogance in this region.

  • wat is da difference between eritreans and ethiopians and somali's... NOTHING becuz we r all da same we all r decendents from ham and shem.... an yea im ethiopian

  • i totally agree with you, there is no difference whatsoever.. nd im eritrean

  • heck no

  • my eritreans brothers and sisters, praise that your land is no longer in the hands of ethiopians, i'm a somalian, and we too are fighting to get our part that is somali state in ethio independent and join the rest of somali, (which will be in peace soon). peace to all eriterians our closest bretherns in africa

  • The song is alenalki and by Tanki, who was a tegadalit and is a famous singer. I love this video---props to squeky11

  • whats the name of the song

  • eiziya tederafit... entai eyew shema

  • Eritreans need no SELF-APPOINTED "HISTORIANS" & fiction writres to define, qualify & approve the origins of Eritrean people.

  • Cameh al a ka? Dahan do? debooch debooch, tsinah cameh? Now am I still white. I can't beleieve your telling me what my race is. How dare a African American call an African white.

  • Hail to glorious Eritreans, who defeated all powerful enemies to liberate & rebuild their homeland.

We over came all hurdles & still, WE WILL OVERCOME ALL HURDLES & DEFEAT ALL MORTAL ENEMIES!!!!

    Viva Eritrea!

    PS: Nice beautiful video.

  • Historically, Yes

  • We have the revolution not the empires! I chant the people, the revolution not the emperors and the landlords! Some people should read, understand and learn from history to be revolutionists.

  • eritrea land of the ancient ppl..we have the direct descendants of the early and the latter kush empire (beja, tegre, nara)we have the direct descendants of the d'mt empire (tegrenya, tegre, saho, afar)we are the closest ppl to predynsatic ancient egyptions, like the singer says you are very expensive eritrea.."ale na deqeki eritrea" and we are here to stay my eritrea.we r inventors of geez, fidal meriote writing, tegrenya, tegre we r proud 2 be the desendants of kush 1st n fifth son.viva eritrea's ppl.

  • Alnealki Hagernaa!!! Thank God for our beautiful country!!! Eid mubarak!

  • are you retarded?

  • Bro, we are full African

Its just that historically we mixed with different cultures and races,

And don't get it twisted you get dark skinned Eri's too.

  • tell em, lol people dont know how diverse africa. from the fulani, tuareg, igbo,to tigrinya, to khoisan, we have different looks. al africans have mixed with another culture at some point in history

  • There are five Major human groups in Africa, the "whites", Khoisans, Asians, Bantus, and Pygmies.

  • no they did not they fuckin colonized eritrea??

  • Ballbreaker, These people are NOT half-whites, they are NOT whites & they are NOT black.

These people are called "Rashaidas" & and they are Semites, just like the Arabs & the Jews.

    FYI,

    Whites are Arians.

    Arabs & Jews are Semites.

Blacks are Nilots & Asians are Orientals.

  • These are African people. There is some mixture there with other groups but all the same it is obvious they are African. I'm African American from the U.S. born and raised. and my relatives look just like these people. I know that I have some white/native american in my blood but I identify with my African roots due to society norms.

  • The only arabs in Eritrea are the Rashaida, Hamites are the Beni Amir and Al Hidareb, and our Afro Semititic people include the Tigrinya and Tigre

  • lol rashaidas are not the only people in eritrea and they have mixed with the local population to a good degree

  • These are African people. There is some mixture there with other groups but all the same it is obvious they are African. I'm African American from the U.S. born and raised. and my relatives look just like these people. I know that I have some white/native american in my blood but I identify with my African roots due to society norms.

  • Beautiful Country Beautiful people!

  • I think you forgot something, axum kingdom is more linked to eritrea than wollo,gojjam,wellega,showa...and other ugly amharas. Axum kingdom = Tigray + Eritrea! u got it???

  • Hailu, If you need to know anything about Eritrean history read your Old Testament of your Bible & find out,

    1. "WHERE IS THE ERYTHREAN SEA"?

    2. "WHY MOSSES CROSSED THE ERYTHREAN SEA"? As for Axum, "Did starving Tigray had the means to build an empire or it has something to do with the Yemeni "queen of Sheeba" or the Egyptians, who spread Christianity to Ethiopia & built Orthodox churches & Pyramids all over. Search for Erthyrean sea on the Internet & find out, WHO MADE YOU CHRISTIAN?

  • Like EritreanKing007 said, Aksumite history belongs more to the Tigre of Eritrea than tiginrya people.

Of course the language of ancient Aksum was Ge'ez, today the closest language to Ge'ez in its purest form is Tigre, then Tigrinya.

  • I smell envy..

Then what are you doing here..lol ..you want to be part of us ..I wonder??? Sorry no room!

  • I m so proud to be one of your my beautyful eri ppl. Thanks god i m Eritrea and so far away from ugly and HIV infected Ethiopia. ERITREA 4 LIFE

  • dont forget ethiopia and eritrea were the same country and the axumite kingdom was to the north tigray and eritrea and the long journey we came from colonization betrayed by AFRICAN PEOPLE who betrayed us instead of helping us they colonized us wit the help of the outsiders im proud to be eritrean even though were having a hard time now we are gunna get past this as we have passed all the hard times before and we have our own history but your gettin all the fame for it...

  • Asmara is gorgeous.

  • What a beautiful country and nice song

  • why is this video no longer available?

  • Manshallah very beautiful people..

  • Does anyone know what song/musician this is?

  • Hello Stephanie, the Song is called "Kibri Hager", which is sung by an Eritrean female war veteran named Brikti W-Selasie, also known as "Tanki", which is a nickname she got during her battlefield years.

  • kamajiboy: there are not any arabs in sudan..they are all black, its just that the majority of the population who control the central government like to call themselves arabs, because of their close tradition and history with the arabs, but mainly Egypt..about the so called black population, the reason they are being massacard is because all the resources is in their part of sudan (darfur & south sudan) so instead of the government corporate with the people they decided to kill all of them.

  • kamajiboy: you are asking the wrong folks here.

  • Kamajiboy...we Eritreans don't really know. Like hentesf said you are asking the wrong people. You might want to go to a Sudanese video and ask the same question if you want an "answer".

  • can someone tell me plz at (01:08)

in what language the is the song?

    im from somalia

  • The language is Tigringa! One of Eritrea's working language!

    Enjoy!

  • Hey ruhail1..This is a Tigrinya song by the legendary "Tanki", she's a former freedom fighter too.
