if someone really wants to make a statement , how about a day without a consumer , the tax base would drop dramatically in whatever state you are in and everyone's voices would be heard , not just a particular group or someone that indentifies with a particular group . if we want a modern day boston tea party , individual segments of the populace won't suffice .
to call this a flop is to insult the true meaning of flop . JV

The problem with that is, it's hard to get everyone to agree to do a general strike/boycott. Most people aren't going to care. They're going to be apathetic unless you can convince them that what they do care about is in jeopardy. We need to find a new way to protest, because this isn't working out so well.

You are right... the Gay community has no pull and no conviction to their cause. First they tried to piggy back their cause on the Civil Rights movement of blacks and women, then they tried to mimmick the efforts of the Latino community.
Their efforts to legitimize their sexual behavior is a joke a best. The only thing they have is a few rogue judges in the judicial the support of SF and a bunch of YouTube junkies.
