There are many sierras all over the world and all are equally as beautiful. I have been there as a helicopter pilot. When I first heard Boz' words all emotions flew into my heart and soul. Of the ones I loved and lost. I finally found it on My Time: A Boz Scaggs Anthology (1969-1997). It was like finding myself, my mantra, of the one(s) who live in my heart. I play it over and over until all is calm on my Sierra in New Mexico where I love those who loved me and she lets those who care in.

Don't forget my five mile rule. Most Americans poop out after five miles - after that it's practically pristine. Avoid July and early August. Avoid the main entrances.

Not at all. 15 minutes east of me are the foothills leading to Sequoia National Forest. We only see the mountains just before it rains. The Central San Joaquin Valley has the dubious honor of having some of the worst air quality in the western hemisphere. People come for the jobs and leave to save thier family`s lungs. True story.
