I work closely with Boltwood and he is an amazing healer he as done many studies over the years and most get ingnored by the scientific community. The one mentioned below was slagged by the editor of nature magazine as being flawed even though he hadnt seen any of the results or spoke to anyone involved, now thats arrogance. Yes there are charlatans out there but healing is real and the evidence is there to support this.

I've received healings from Turoff a number of times and know others who have too. He can, on occasion, produce genuine, miraculous healings. That much I know. (No... not placebo!) Yet it is my opinion that he has rather lost his way in recent years. He has gifts, but that doesn't mean that he is God or that he is always correct in his opinions. The vid succumbs to the usual cliches and is best ignored. I would say Turoff is a genuinely gifted healer who has lost his way...

as it is in live. those who believe and personally felt better after meeting him, know that through him is many possible. as he says just to be a withness of what happens. and for those who want to make him an idiot, it is simple too.

we all got our free will to go the way we want to. we never have to give answer than to ourselves. i have met him personally many times, and for me he is a wonderful friend forever. thumbs down? i hope so, or you would not think about mr. turoff anymore.

since you never have met stephen turoff personally, you should not give such answers about ALL psychic healers. many of them are cheaters. many are not. as it is in live. search for the internet-side of stephen turoff and you can ask your questions. you will get an answer!!!

@CyberDragonZero I said I have 32 years experience. I did indeed start reading intensively about the subject from the age of 14. From 18 I learnt many forms of meditation, later I lived on a spiritual centre and studied with all manner of people in this field.. Later still I went on to study  with the acclaimed Jack Schwarz. And very, very much more besides... I am by nature scientifically as well as mystically minded and have certainly applied plenty of critical thinking to my explorations.

I do know of rock solid proof (double blind study, repeated 6 times, at London Uni) of a healer whom I know.

And I have perceived for myself the energy that Turoff and others work with, and I simply cannot deny that.

Conducted by Scofield and Hodges from the dept of biochemistry, Wye College, University London. Journal of the Society for Psychical Research, 57, 321-43. (1991). An account of the experiment may also be found in the book 'The Messenger' by Geoff Boltwood,

@CyberDragonZero I should add that the study is into energetic healing NOT psychic surgery per se, but the real psychic surgery shares much common ground with the former anyway... There are plenty of other experiments on healing out there, though not enough because of the extreme predjudice of the scientific community (see videos by Dean Radin...) You may also find books by Barbara Brennan and Lynne Mctaggart interesting...

Stephen Turoff has his flaws but is nevertheless a brilliant healer on occasion - I speak from personal experience...
