Sa afirmi ca a facut/face "istorie" e cam exagerat, nu credeti ? Sunt mai masini in care s-au investit de 10 ori atatia bani si a castigat f. multe competitii dar pana la nivelul de a afirma ca face "istorie" e totusi cale lunga ... Iar cu "tine-o tot asa" si "bafta in continuare" ne e cam plin podu' ca masinile de genul asta au inghitit bani grei. Daca vreti sa va bagati in seama dati niste sfaturi gandite sau sponzorizati activitatea :))))

so what ur saying is that you care more about how your car sound than, the performance you get. a v8 swap is a nice swap for a company who has a higher budget than most people, and had the ability to fabricate parts, but if your like most people who work hard for their money, wouldn't you wanna get your moneys worth. and if thats the case i would go with m/52, s38, or 2jz, with any of this engines you will get equal or better results than the v8, and they are cheaper.

You can take the s38 out of that statement. It is more expensive to buy and maintain. But it is sweet

Ur also right about the only having 286 hp from such a swap. But there some misconceptions too. Most people would say just go LS1. Most LS1's people find are from the Camaro which only has 310 hp and the same torque as the M62 and is actually heavier in full trim than the M62. Also i dont know for myself but i have heard that some M62's dyno around 270 whp which would give somewhere around 310 bhp. I myself has thought of going LS1 but i may stay with my M62. M62 trans has better gears

and not only that, but i think the m62 is also a higher revving engine than the ls1.
