Very Nice. You little set up looks to be working very well sir. Where did you get your super hot seeds if I may ask?? I'm pretty sure I got screwed over by the company I bought my Bhut Jolokia seeds from. :(
@TheAmatureGreenThumb Thanks! This is my old beginner set up that I dont use any more. It got the job done, but plants (especially pepper plants) crave lots of light! Thats why I upgraded to the set up in video 3. How did you get screwed with your Bhut plants? Did they produce some other pepper? If so I can hook you up with some seeds at no charge.
@theitalian556 Yeah it produced two peppers so far, but they aren't bumpy and they don't come to a point. Like I've seen in so many pictures and videos. The only thing I can think of is they were open pollinated and it reverted back to the other pepper type or the company just screwed me for a few bucks.
@TheAmatureGreenThumb wait until they are ripe to see what they look like. They start off roundish at first. Growing at this time of yr indoors you have to hand pollinate the blossoms. I recommend using a blossom boosting fert on them. If i was you I would have pinched the buds off and put them out doors in the spring. That way they get good sun light. The bees will do the pollinating for you.
@tmudder Ya, I accidently completely submerged one of the plants in water while watering them shortly after this video :( I took the netting off of the pellet and patted it down with a paper towel. I also made sure that it is in the path of my fan the most. So hopefully the plant will be ok. With a combination of what I did and the lights and heat mat and fan also the jiffy pellets dry out quickly, so hopefully a combination of all that it should be fine

A nice early start! They'll be doing great by the time spring rolls around.
