1994 hardly any investment in schools, hospitals, hardly any investment in hospitals or railways, and this is totally different today, is just one reason to vote Labour.
People who are saying that Labour have not done well over the last ten years need to wake up and smell the coffee. After 10 years of Tory govt we had 2 recessions, 2 year waiting times for the NHS, Pensioners dieing in their homes because of fuel poverty, Implemented a national minimum wage,Invested in education and in Scotland we saw a new schoo being built every week. We never got that under the Tories, David Cameron's Conservatives still only stand for the wealthy.
I'm a graduate who owes £12,000 because of student loans and fees. I'm currently in an entry-level job and I'll be paying MORE tax this year because Mr Brown has doubled the tax rate of the first £2,000 of taxable income. Yet, Labour are too scared of taxing the non-doms. Tell me if Labour stands for the non-wealthy?
The last thing anyone who wants to change the UK for the better will do is vote Labour. ID cards, five million CCTV cameras, talking CCTV, removal of double jepordy, 42 day sentances without charge, DNA database, the list goes on. 1984 was supposed to be a warning, not a manifesto for a future government. New Labour have been a disaster for this country and the sooner we get rid of them the better.
Iam trying my best to think of any improvements in the last ten years under labour, but i seem to be stuck,National Health-deep clean just a gimmik, people are frightend to visit hospitals let alone have to stay in one,in case you come out with more than you go in with Alan Johnson should get out a bit,Crime 60% of people afraid to go out, immigration ruined the country,Come on Gordon dont be a coward lets have an election and see what people realy think,
"We've only just begun to change Britain for the better." Really? That's quite an admission after 11 years of Labour government. Shame on you for not starting sooner.
im sorry but Labour have done a really bad job over the last ten years - it's time for a change, thats why on may 1st and in the general election next year ill be voting Conservative

Funny that Labour didn't mention about ID cards.
Or a change in the voting system? More and more of us are not participating in politics!

I would never EVER have voted for the BNP, but thank God they are there now...
I read their website today, i think i shed an entire layer of ignorance! They are not racists like i thought.
Muslims, Immigrants, Europe, Tax... Labour should be asking itself why more and more are turning to the BNP - perhaps its to do with policy.

Hi MadMax116,
The Scots realy should have their independence
at the moment they cost the tax payer £1500 for each of them the faster we get rid of them the better, unfotunatly we might be left dithering Brown.

As far as the 10p tax rate abolition goes, as the election broadcast says, people are seeing real benefits...
...because they're better off on them than having a full time low paid job!

Labour have increased my tax with this 10p thing. Im never voting Labour again, so much for looking after the little guy!

Take it from me I will be voting Tory on May 1st and a next election.
