  • Why did I watch this? Not like I'm ever gonna make one

  • These are really cool but are they toxic like the ping pong smoke bombs?

  • Cool I'll make 1 tomarro

  • Thumbs up if u are leaning on ur left elbow

  • DAMN THAT WAS AWESOME!!!!!!

  • can you make a slower burning one and put gunpowder at the botom so it will explode after it smokes

  • @JadonLivingston

To make it slower, put more baking powder in than I did. I suppose you could put gunpowder at the bottom, but I wouldn't suggest it. It might actually go off with the rest of the bomb, not at the end. If you're going to try it, I'd suggest using only a little bit, then gradually increasing the amount in small increments.

  • Can u get saltpetre in Ireland I really wana make a smoke bomb

  • @joemurphy210

I don't see why not. You should check with Ireland's laws regarding explosives and chemicals. As far as I know, saltpetre is generally a legal substance. It's not explosive enough to be illegal.

  • if i did it with saltpeter and not with 100% kno3 will have deference??????

  • @xajisG9

Saltpeter is either Sodium Nitrate, Potassium Nitrate, Magnesium Nitrate, or Calcium Nitrate. The two you should be looking for are Potassium Nitrate and Sodium Nitrate, because they have similar properties. Either one will do, although I believe Potassium Nitrate has more of a "kick" to it. I don't think it would matter which you use, really, but if there is more than just saltpeter in your mixture (assuming you get it from a gardening store), there'll be less smoke. I think.

  • wow i wod never let this kid cook me dinner

  • great video ...please tell me how can i get saltpetre locally

  • @arsalan3902

Ask for saltpeter in the gardening section of a store. Or you could ask for potassium nitrate if you know of a fireworks shop that's around. If you have some ammonium nitrate and potassium hydroxide, you could mix those two together (Note: Toxic gas is released, so you need to do it in a fume-hood or outdoors. LOOK UP HOW TO DO IT SAFELY!).

That's for local. I'd recommend buying it off a legitimate fireworks website, like I did. That's where you get the high quality stuff.

  • Who ran in front of the camera???

  • baking soda taste like sea water!

  • You can tell the second one you lite has the baking soda mixed into it better.

  • Play The Prodigy - Their Law in the background :D

  • this guy was happy because it is a strong plug one end I do not know what would have ended

  • when you cook the mix does it smell? cuz I might want to cook it outside if it does

  • @ausybro

Yes, it does smell. It smells like burning sugar, which is a nasty smell. I should have said something about the smell, but I must have forgotten about it. Seriously, it will stink up the house if you cook it inside, so if you can, I would suggest making it outside.

  • will this work with ammonium nitrate

  • @ELEMENTSKATERGREG

Maybe. But from what I've read, it's more explosive than potassium nitrate, so I'd be careful if I were you. In fact, if I were you, I'd probably not do it. Seriously. Apparently that stuff is used in IEDs.

  • cool man thanx

  • tht last one was cool

  • that woda been good rocket fuel :)

  • voypics is better

  • dude your not chemist if u be chemist i be chemist

  • why be a hater man?

  • Hey sjtf2, do you know what brand of dye works? i've tried a few brands, but none of them color the smoke.

  • dude that is cool.....

  • remember to put the baking soda in when it cools a little .otherwise it will increase your heat very quickly . plus it shouldn't be any darker than peanut butter and if it is darker that means you burnt off most of your sugar and the result will be more flame than smoke.plus try going to your local art supply of craft shop and get some red or orange powdered dye this will make your smoke less transparent and slow your burn rate a little more .

  • Great :)

  • Great movie man :) what is the name of the cord typ you use as a fuse. so i can google it where to buy. i now ripped mine from old fireworks.. and i alsmot run out =( ty. 5 stars + fav :)

  • visco!

  • what kind of sugar do u use? like granulated, caster, icing?

  • Just regular granulated sugar.

  • Where do i get potassium nitrate?

  • hey look at my videos dude

1 smoke bomb i light off

the 2nd i made i put the stove on high and it caught my kitchen on fire

    it was crazy

go look at my video =]/=[

  • this is tight

  • are you serious?

    any grocery store pretty much.

  • I agree at the end. You seem to be more of an anarchist.

  • I think you could 'ave used a little more of bakinð soda. it burned quite fast.

  • If you read my comments on this video, you'll read about how the ones that I showed were not the same ones I made for the video. In fact, I say that I didn't use enough baking soda for that particular batch.

  • yea, i agrizzle

  • yea i wish i would known the baking soda thing man lol that sucker like almost took my hand off

  • i wish i woulda watched this video the first time i tried making one. i didn't put any baking soda in and it totally sucked. Good video, very informative

  • is there any alternative for potassium nitrate? Im not sure that I can find a place to buy that so is there anything else that can be used instead of potassium nitrate? pls reply me coz I wanna do this;)

  • Well, there are many ways to make a smoke bomb, and the method I use uses potassium nitrate. I've seen some good smoke bombs made other ways without potassium nitrate, and you can find them on youtube.

  • But we search for potassiumnitrate?

  • baking soda slows combustion and the low flame is safer than higher flame

  • how many fullspoons are 60 grams of KNO3

    and 40 of Sugar???please help

  • get a measuring cup

  • Weres the water ?????

  • you dont need it and that makes it take longer

  • true it will cook faster believe me

  • It you put it on a high heat the sugar will burn and then set on fire, NO2 goes up very hot and very fast, then your house is full of smoke and you have an almost melted pan on your stove...low heat is best.

  • potassiom is extremeley easy to find! But where do you get your fuse i wonder?

  • internet

  • Garden store will sell it

  • do absolutely need potassium nitrate

  • Well, there are other ways of making smoke bombs (such as using ping-pong balls, tin foil, and newspaper, etc.) but for this method (a more professional one), potassium nitrate is essential.

  • Holy crap! This is frigging awesome!

  • Where did u get that fuse?

  • I got it online as well. Although I've heard that you can make a fuse quite easily with potassium nitrate as well. I know there is another video as to how to make a fuse like that on YouTube.

  • where do you get the potassium nitrate
