If I remember correctly the ship skin at the bottom is the silver skin for the HD ship model. You unlock this one by having a gold medal in each cell of the HD campaign I believe. I think it can be on Novice difficulty too, but I'm not sure as I did it straight through on Elite two years ago and didn't touch the campaign since ;)

So i take it Icarus isnt the team to race this track with... ive actually gotten extremely good with them, and they are my preferred online race team.

Any suggestions? Great race btw, im slowly getting the hang of these corners. I think i prefer reverse over normal since you have more time to get in position for the corners.

i absolutely despised doing this and chenghou on forward and reverse against the elite AI. feels like they're cheating at certain points, its so insane! took me about 50 goes but a few lucky autopilots got me there :D

Oh but they are cheating. Check it out when they get hit by weapons. I use Goteki45, which has the highest acceleration rating, yet Triakis piloted by the Elite AI still accelerates faster than me.

I think my next video will be for Chengou Project, I might even start doing two races, forward and reverse per video, though I'm not sure when this will pop up.

im glad everyone seems to agree on the AI cheating issue, i was expecting to just get a bunch of "you're only complaining because you can't do it" comments :) i hope they make the AI a bit more fair in the next game.

oh no, they can glide round corners in a totally unrealistic manner, thats why triakis always win, 100 speed and 100 shield but it SHOULD handle like a tank, only the computer doesnt seem to factor this into the quasion and can go round a track at break neck speed and doesnt even have to use the air brakes to slow down, total cheat.

This game looks sleek, at least the AI seems way more interactive than the N63 version. The only thing that is odd about this game for me is how the tracks are all that narrow.

If by more interactive you mean they fire more weapons at you then yes :D

This is by far one of the narrowest and winding tracks of the game(s), although yes tracks do remain narrow even for the wider ones. That's part of the definition of Wipeout right there: pilot super fast ships at eye-blistering speeds on tortuous tracks ;)
