I am also having troubles connecting my kit to ps360 midi drummer. I dont know how its supposed to connect, i use the receiver to use my 360 controller with my ps2 emu so i know it works, and my kit connects to the receiver but i dont know where to go from there. Im running ps360 midi drummer v0.031, Win7 64. any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

Frustratingly, everything seemed to work with my Guitar Hero Warriors of Rock kit so if I clicked on the "hit" buttons on 360mididrummer, the drums sounded. 360mididrummer also said it found my drum kit but hitting the drums didn't do anything.

So near but yet, so far.

does anyone know how to get the ps360 midi drums program to recognize the drums if you are using a generic wireless reciever with the 360? I have everything else working, but the generic wireless reciever calls the drum HID-compliant gaming device which is not what triggers the event to send midi out. Therefore it never recogvizes teh drums. I bought the reciever online and didn't know that the generic was going to be so frickin hard to make work, but cannot send it back. email:failbot5000@gmail

My PS3 drum kit works fine apart from one thing - red, green and yellow pads produce the same sound. Green and orange are fine. According to FL studio the green one is F4, the orange one is G4 while red, green and yellow are all C4. How do I fix it? PS360 works fine though, all pads are recognised correctly and produce green bars accordingly. I've got PS360 version 0.031, loopbe1 version 1.6 and FL Studio version 10.0.9 demo.

To everyone struggling with not finding Addictive drums in FL Studio:

You get to select directory 2 times when installing Addictive drums. First time, select "my documents" (as someone mentioned earlier). The second directory is for the plugins. These MUST be installed in the FL studio plugins folder under VST plugins!

I've done everything in this tutorial and it works great apart from the fact that I sometimes hear unintentional flans in my kicks and snares. I think it's something to do with my high hat. Do you know of any way to fix this by any chance?

@toulixado It does work, i have set it up slight differently ( diff as in i used a midi cable that converts to usb and i have a Warriors of rock drumkit) it does work, althought u do not need loopbe1, since i dont use the wireless connecter. But i do have a question, that is how to i redirect my pads? i mean, my bassdrum is ok, and my hi hat ,cymbal, snare (red one) works too, only thing is that blue is set as the same as one hi hat and green is another cymbal ( cymbal 4) so how can i fix this?

I tried this but my O.S. won't detect the battery. It CAN detect the wireless controllers though. I'm running Windows 7 x64 and have the xbox world tour version for the Drum Kit. It loads the battery as "Game Device compatible with HID". Please help and thanks

Close all programs and restart FL Studio. If you haven't got a sound card in your PC then your computer may have a hard time generating the MIDI controlled sound.

I have the Xbox 360 Band Hero drums. I can get them to link to the pc but when I run them with PS360 they dont say xbox360 drums connected. Does the Band Hero drums work with this and if so what driver should it be? And if it does not work what can i do to try to figure it out? Thank you- Mark

But now i have a big problem: i played my drum on pc for a month, then i switched the wireless pc receiver with another one, and now PS360 MIDI Drummer never give me the message "DRUMS FOUND".

I really dunno why, i just changed the wireless pc receiver and now it doesn't work more.

PS: The drum works fine only inside the GH Game O_o

Try plugging the wireless receiver into a different usb port... If that fails, try re-downloading the PS360 Midi drummer.

No way man, i tried all i can. Someone told me to buy a "Genuine" microsoft receiver, this one seems original, genuine, oem etc but it's not. So is required a GENUINE or OEM Microsoft wireless receiver. That's it! :)

@Drakken444 OK i got it! you MUST use original Microsoft products, so not the copies you find aorund the web. I bought an original microsoft controller for xbox 360 (50,00€ XD) and now my drum works fine as electronic drum! Stop wasting your time searching for a working receiver, it will never work if it's not "original product microsoft" (you can find it somewhere on the package).

Hey man, great tutorial, unfortunately I had to go with another (30 day trial software) because drop.io is not featured anymore. Could you mail me the ps360 midi drummer software, I couldn't find a download anywhere! I realy want to try this, my son wants to learn to drum and we cannot aford a real drum kit which could be a waste if he doesn't continue it. This way looks like a great way for him to give it a try...

I've set up the kit now, I've only got one problem left, i experience lag now, if it was a little it wouldn't be a problem but when I'm drumming ritmes I tend to get off pace because of the lag.

Do you have any idea's where to look?

BTW I have the PS3 drum kit.

I'm not familiar with the PS3 version but I believe it isn't as responsive as the 360 version due to the connection method. But there is a way to reduce the lag, in the ASIO4All settings (6:00 in the video shows you how to get there) try reducing the buffer size to 128 samples if your computer can handle it. If not, slowly keep moving the slider right until there is no distortion/overload.
