let's clear one thing up: there has never been a communist government. there have been socialist governments. communism is a brilliant idea. the thought that one could put the entirety of a country's resources to where it most needed to go within days is... you get the idea. the actual reality is that a true communist government is impossible. it would require pure minded individuals in power who have no desire to do anything more than help the people. blame socialists for socialist mistakes.

look guys, the USSR was an attempt at creating a wide scale communist state. i give Marx and Engels A+ for their works especially the communist manifesto, but in the long run, the soviet union under Stalin was a terribly corrupt country. thats not to say the entirety of soviet history was. for under lenin, the country first experienced true equality and made a huge step forward. so i dont care who's communist, socialist, or capitalist, the USSR failed mostly because the US pushed it into debt
